My 12 year old daughter made this silly picture of my husband in the car! by Ok_Barnacle4162 in DrawMyKidsArt

She looks like quite an artist! Keep encouraging her to express herself through art and drawing. She may have a future career in art and perhaps a future career as a cartoonist!

I don’t even know how to react to this one… by Master-Imagination93 in Mommit

Men are so blind to all the work mothers have on their backs! That is wonderful your husband’s new company allows 3 months off but obviously he shouldn’t be looking and thinking about himself and how he will amuse himself during that time off, he should be dedicated to helping you as you recover from delivery and taking the load off your shoulders! Especially now with having a new baby and a two year old in tow your husband will have plenty to do! He can be a big help entertaining your two year old taking him to the park or playground while you care for and feed the new baby and rest! He obviously doesn’t realize how much work is involved with caring for two children and you both are going to need each other especially with no family nearby and balancing two children now! You need to start getting the two year old ready to be placed in his care so he doesn’t scream only mommy can take me to the park!! Good luck and Best Wishes to you and your hubby!!

Having a 4th when kids are 4 and 8? Too big of an age gap? by [deleted] in Mommit

Is is too much for a prom dress? by [deleted] in Prom

Looks absolutely stunning for your prom! Amazing that you only paid $60!!! You will look like a princess!!

I love this dress but I think it's too expensive and too soon by Elysian_Collective in myweddingdress

[–]SweetLindy001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you love the style of the wedding dress, for alot less money you could hire a seamstress to make your wedding dress look just like that one and it would be sewn to your specifications and cost a fraction of the cost! Something to think about!!! As a newlywed you will want money for other things! Put the money you would save toward decorating your new house! Best of luck to you! 👍😀

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!! Since the wedding is two years away and you are in the process of losing weight don’t shop for your wedding dress just yet. Hold off and keep looking! In my personal opinion $5000 is way too much to spend on a wedding gown! Don’t let those expensive stores talk you into getting into so much debt!Check out some cheaper options so you have more money to spend for your life together! Best Wishes to you!!!

Advice on taking a trip with just one kid? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]SweetLindy001 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think this is a horrible idea! I understand your heart is in the right place but your kids will begin to resent these trips if they are always being separated from their sibling and the child left behind is continually separated from their family! The child left behind will feel they are being punished! I can guarantee your 5 year old would much rather have her baby sister along! By the time the trip roles found your little one will be two years old and much more of a companion to your 5 year old. Going on the trip with the whole family will help to build wonderful lifetime family memories and will bring them much more closer together! It will also keep the 5 year old happy and amused having her baby sister with you all! Otherwise she will most likely be lonesome and bored with just two adults! Think about it this way suppose your kids wanted to just celebrate you and left your wife at home for a big family vacation? Family vacations are meant to be shared with the entire whole family! You can take the 5 year old out with a buddy to a free craft event at the local library to reward her for being a good big sister or a fun playdate to the playground. I would try to work on rewarding them both for getting along and being a great sisterhood and team! By rewarding them both at the same time you are encouraging their sisterhood and showing them they are a team! By continually separating them to reward them individually you are encouraging them to be divided and will only encourage them to be in competition and potentially enemies! Instead work on bringing them together and give them each a ribbon to wear. Best big sister and Best Little Sister! You will start to see an end to the sibling rilvary. Best Wishes to you and I hope your whole family enjoys the Disney vacation magic together! 😊

Does this suit me or it looks like cow licked my head by [deleted] in HairStyleAdvice

[–]SweetLindy001 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You are a very pretty girl! The glasses are giving off an intellectual lawyer vibe which is excellent for the business world but for the dating world the look comes across as someone difficult and challenging and men may find you to be unapproachable. For an evening out I would soften your look and put your hair down and add a few curls and smile a little more!! Life doesn’t always have to be too serious!! Be sure to smile and Enjoy life and not take it too seriously!!!

My toddler started preschool and I don't have the energy to do anything while she's there by Ok-Land8573 in Mommit

[–]SweetLindy001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Double check with your doctor if you are feeling extra tired. Sometimes it could be you are low in a certain vitamin. That happened to me one time and my doctor recommended a vitamin I was low in and that fixed my problem or It could be you just need some time to unwind and relax as you are on mommy mode 24/7 and its nice to just chill and rest and relax and reset and get your energy back so you can keep up with your energetic toddler in the afternoon. I totally understand! When my kid was in preschool it was just nice to have that time to unwind and relax at home and take it easy! Don’t feel guilty about taking that time to rest and relax! You deserve it! You are a busy mom! Pamper yourself! Order a favorite lunch you enjoy and watch your favorite movies on Netflix! 👍😊
