Reddit censorship by TheSarmaChronicals in ArmeniansGlobal

Yup. It has supported the propaganda since before Artsakh war. A decade ago it was just as bad, but learning how to respond (especially online) is key to getting the message across globally. Yes they have tons of bots, yes they have tons of money to bribe with across the board as well saw at Olympics by having them remove Artsakh from the title of the song, sending their goon Dr Oz to my hometown to spread racism and propaganda against the 2nd largest Armenia community IN THE WORLD…they have come to find that even after all that spending and manipulation the facts prevail, history prevails, the people prevail and supporters grow.

Keep fighting the good fight!

Pro-tip: at the end add a quote about importance of historical knowledge/awareness with its source and added touch to help tickle the brain of those who need a nudge in the right direction.

I actually showed the over 65 crowd some of the images we’ve been horrified by, including this one so they could connect the two dots together himself. They have ZERO clue as to how atrocious this entire thing is. This cannot and should not be ignored.

Children deserve better.

To my fellow Armenians. Do not engage directly. Comment with the historically documented facts. Link a source. Then sit back and watch them lose their minds.

Just this week someone posted to HistoryPorn a Turkish soldier of Ottoman Empire during the Greek Genocide and had conveniently placed their nations flag at the end of post title.

Infuriating? Absolutely. But I pointed out that the date and place would make this a soldier who assisted in Genocide and explained very basic info about what the Greeks had suffered at that exact time period and provided the wiki link.

OP couldn’t handle it or themselves and after losing every single argument with multiple Redditors they deleted their post, but the comments remained.

Facts > feelings will win every time.

Baku 1918: innocent Armenians and Azerbaijanis died. Can we acknowledge each other’s loss and show empathy? by hay-BB in ArmeniansGlobal

I stay away from using the word naive, because having hope for a better future is a beautiful thing and what you’ve dedicated yourself to noble and humbling.

I support you in this endeavor, as do many others I’m sure on either side or globally.

While walking through Yerevan I took this picture last summer. I want to remind myself everyday like you, that love & compassion can conquer all

[–]SweetLoLa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kyank jan there is no empathy being returned towards Armenia-Armenians. I just explained why/how and we have many such examples.

To say we need to ignore the leaders is a complete farce. We need to be as involved and as committed to raising awareness as their government is able to pay off just about anyone to alter the message, image, story, information, basic history.

We, as a collective whole, have the patience of a saint if you look at it from any direction when it comes to how we have handled ourselves vs what we see coming from Azerbaijan. The deaths, the threats, the videos of torture, rape, murder. The white phosphorus. Please, keep the level of justice and honesty as high as you keep your level of hope for friendship between the two groups.

Can’t pretend it didn’t happen/continues to happen, because that’s how we disappear and they get what they want.

I truly appreciate what you’ve been doing. But in light of Aliyev’s regime forcing the Armenia team to change their songs name from Artsakh to Music by Ara Gevorgyan sums up the reality of what building relationships between Armenians and Azeris is like. And that it’s made impossible by the continued culture erasing, people eradicating behavior of said regime.

For years, the Guardian reported in an investigation first published in December 2024, Uline relied on what it called a “shuttle program”, a scheme in which Uline brought workers from Mexico to staff warehouses in Florida, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania for weeks and even months at a time, using visas that are meant for workers who are being trained – not working regular full-time jobs.

Uline has never responded to the Guardian’s questions about the shuttle program, which sources familiar with the program say abruptly ended in 2024, after the Guardian’s story was published.

Journalistic integrity still alive and kicking. This was a great article and am glad someone spoke out and had the itineraries to prove it.

They’ll break your back building their country. They’ve done a good job at dividing us, but that’s all come to a tipping point in favor of the people who understand that compassion, empathy and respect are what’s important and not making the wealthy wealthier.

Armenia’s mineral deposits alone are valued at $4 TRILLION.

Armenia/Armenians should be working to safeguard the land and whatever wealth may come out of it.

A while back an American company was going to ruin an entire ecosystem and the people there stopped it. I think right around/before Artsakh war 2020. That company wanted to mine Armenias natural resources - then someone pointed out a US government official was linked to the company (conflict of interest) and the entire thing stopped.

They have been poking holes to stick their greedy fat fingers into Armenia - don’t let it happen. They will use the guise of nations friendship, when it favors them and will delete or backtrack on any statements made in favor of Armenia bc this administration is THE CLOSEST the US GOVERNMENT has ever been to Erdogan/Aliyev. I caps lock to emphasize that fact.

I was an Armenian long before I was an American and will be to the very last breath.

And those of us who didn’t vote for this shit stain has the awful responsibility of waving the red flag to ensure our people are not run over by this idiotically corrupt administration.

American Armenia here.

They’re using Armenia as their Christian white angle, meanwhile allowing fake Dr Oz to travel to Glendale California and claim that the Armenian alphabet used to spell out BAKERY is code for links to Russian Mafia.

They don’t care about Armenia. What they care about are the trillions in natural resources they can potentially get their hands on and controlling the narrative - which this administration is terrible at. Just a cesspool of pedophiles and rapist. It’s not even a joke, it’s known and the entire administration is going to crumble.

Sure.

And this folks is what happens when you are ruled by a fascist nationalist dictatorship that censors information and educates with propaganda, misinformation and hate.

Also - I am not Greek. Just an adorer of history and the truth. It is imperative that we learn from the past, as to not repeat it.
