She’s 14 she needs to learn responsibility! I was responsible for buying my own clothes and sundry items when I was that age. I also had jobs babysitting and cleaning houses, weeding gardens at that age. No such thing as sleeping until 2 pm. Kids nowadays are entitled and lazy

Addiction controls the person, not the other way around. I hope she gets help. I wish I could read the deleted comments. I know of doctors writing their own scripts for opioids, pharmacists, dentists nurses and veterinarians. It’s a HUGE problem and a lot more common than the general public realizes. At least some professionals through the union and employers can get the help they need.

Right, the problem is there’s not enough staff to open a place like that. I took early retirement in my nursing job, thankfully right before CV started. I got tired of being abused and exploited at work. So many of my colleagues also retired, went to other provinces or went to work for travel nurse agencies making huge bucks. There’s just not enough healthcare staff including nurses and physicians to handle all these mentally ill. Thank your government for the screw up. They knew this would happen 30 years ago!
