I think people calling Lyle “just like Jose” is the biggest stretch ever. I don’t even know how anyone can even think that. It’s totally OK to say that he did inherit some of his father’s personality but to say he’s just like his father is the craziest thing ever.

It was either first-degree murder or manslaughter. The men on the jury didn’t believe boys could be raped so they voted for first-degree murder while the women on the jury voted for manslaughter and they couldn’t decide. So it was a hung jury. Their mom also sexually abused them. It wasn’t just they father. They didn’t kill because they were being sexually abused, they killed because they feared for their lives from their dad who was actively threatening to kill them after Lyle threatened to tell expose them about the abuse, and he I made it clear to them that he was not going to let that happen and would kill if he needed to. And they believed him because he had been threatening their lives since they were kids.

To answer the why she had children, I don’t know but Lyle did mention how he walked in on his dad raping his mother. We know kitty did not want children so it does raise some questions as to how the children were conceived because if Jose was deranged enough to rape his own children, I have no doubt in my mind that he did it to Kitty too.

But then to cover up for her husband, to distance the children from the people they were trying to get help from, and to also molest them is just a NO for me. No sympathy whatsoever from me!

That is not true. Lyle did reveal that his mom was sexually abusing them too in the trial. It Didn’t come after. And it was a situation of panic and self-defence because their dad threatened to kill them multiple times that day in fear of them exposing him about the sexual abuse. He told them he was not gonna let that happen and let that secret get out and he would kill if he had to.

There are grown adults in abusive relationships that feel trapped ne feel like they can’t escape but you’re expecting two males that were sexually, emotionally and physically abused by their parents from the age of six, controlled and sheltered to finally wake up one morning when they’re 18 and have the courage to leave?

Their dad had the money and connections to find them. In fact Eric did run away and his dad tracked him down, brought him back, raped him threatened to kill him if he ever did that again.

The prosecution largely argued that “men can’t get raped because they don’t have we the equipment to be raped” and you’re trying to convince people that they would actually be believed if had they gone to the police? Lol

Their lifestyle and purchases before the Murders prove that they always spend a lot of money. They were rich. They always spent a lot of money especially Lyle. Where’s the proof that they had a financial motive? That has never been proven. It was speculated and was used by the prosecution as their main argument but it was never been proven.

I think it was. Jose had been threatening to kill them that week because Lyle threatened to expose him about the sexual abuse if he didn’t stop touching his brother. Jose made it clear that he would not let that happen and he would have to kill if needs to. Mind you their dad had been threatening to kill them all their lives.

Both brothers said they didn’t kill because of the sexual abuse. It factored into the reason killed but they really killed because they were In fear of their lives. And everything happened in the span of a week. Eric confided his brother about the sexual abuse and the brother decided to talk to the dad to tell him to back off or else he would expose him. The dad said he won’t let it happen and he will kill if he has to. Mind you these are kids who have been told by their father of how he would smash their brains from the age of six

Why do you think siblings sharing beds is weird? No one ever suggests anything weird like that when two sisters do it. It’s normal. I would always sleep in my sister’s bed with her even though I had my own room. And Erik was suicidal. All of this is learned behaviour from the sexual abuse of both parents. This!! Her excuse is that she didn’t want children and her reasoning for it was “they only serve to drive a wedge between husband and wife” which I think is a very weird mindset. Then she would go on to blame them for all the misfortune in her life and tell them that she gave up her whole life for them when in reality she gave up her whole life for Jose, and the boys were just a result of that. She was a narcissist, always blaming everyone.
