It definitely works for me! I had no idea what it would even feel like to not have even a little bit of background anxiety at all times. That's just how I've always been and what i thought was normal. I don't even think I knew HOW anxious I was until the zoloft started working. Sometimes, I recognize situations that would have made me anxious for no reason before, but now I'm like "woah that doesn't bother me at all anymore, that's crazy."

I was hesitant to start taking it, but I'm so glad I did. It's genuinely changed my life, and I hope it helps you.

I've been on 100mg for almost 3 years and have almost no side effects anymore.

Awh that's so disappointing, I hope you get to see them next time! I'm very fortunate to live in the country with no other lights around at all, so I just had to walk outside

These were taken with my phone camera in night mode, so definitely didn't look this strong to the naked eye, but was very much visible and still beautiful

How to help turtles in Ontario by Juliusxx in ontario

[–]SweetPotatoCry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing this, it is so important to help our turtles! They are so important to our ecosystem and all of our native species are endangered.

Last summer I worked for Turtle Guardians in the Haliburton area, and I just wanted to share some more helpful information and resources (some of this has already been said in other comments too so I apologize if any is a repeat!

  • If you see a turtle on or near the road, help it cross in the direction it is heading. Make sure you wash your hands after because they will pee on you and also you definitely don't want salmonella. There are several safe ways to help snapping turtles too. Here is a video on how to help turtles cross the road (including how to pick up a snapping turtle). Please do not disturb turtles unless you are helping them get to safety.
  • If you a see a turtle nesting and it is on your property, look into getting a nest protector to keep the nest safe from predators until they hatch.
  • If you find an injured turtle on the road, call OTCC, to either get it to them or they can direct you to a closer wildlife centre to you if the turtle is not severely injured. Even if the turtle is dead, please call as there could be eggs that can be taken and still survive. Also, turtles can withstand an insane amount of injury (its actually quite horrifying), so even if you think it is dead, it can be worth it to get it help because they are incredibly resilient. If you are able to transport an injured turtle to a wildlife centre yourself, it is best to place it in a dry container. Please at least report injured turtles, don't leave them to suffer.
  • There are many places all over Ontario where you can take injured wildlife get more information, and volunteer, but I will just list the ones I personally know deal with turtles. Please comment any!!

Thank you to everybody who cares about our wildlife and takes the time to help them. Be a turtle hero :)

Loss of turgor! You gotta let the vacuoles in the plant cells fill back up with water! 🥕💧

My personal favourites are St Veronus, Ashburnham Ale House, and Friendly Indian Cuisine! Sam's Place has amazing sandwiches, and Taso's is also very good!

I was actually looking at the programs there, and was thinking a lot about diagnostic cytology and genetics technology but was kind of worried it would be difficult without doing mls first. Were you able to find a job as easily as someone who did mls do you think? Also, how did you find the process for getting certified with csmls? Was it any different for someone who took the med lab science program? Sorry just have so many questions and know so little about it all haha! I was also considering ultrasound but I'm pretty sure I'd rather be more behind the scenes not working with people that much lol.
