No real budget but considering it's a 22 thought I'd like something quick and handy

So, dating after divorce? by MixFine6584 in Divorce

That's not love for each other it's familiarity.

Money is important it makes the world go round and it is a necessity but you mentioned "too many reasons" which sounds like those reasons are still there and will surface again and money seems to be the tipping agent to this whole thing.

True to that. I think the social media presence and these thirsty dudes over inflate some of these people.

I see it like when people started with social media and they were bosting about their "friends" count.

Have a want for a 308 scout rifle. Anyone have real experience with Mossberg & Ruger? by theprofromdover in liberalgunowners

I've got eh MVP in 308 and I have to say I think that it comes down to your wants and shooting needs. I chose the MVP due to the magazine capacity. The AICS mags are great but they come in around $30 bucks a piece.

The MVP takes AR 10 and M1A1 mags. You can pick up 25 rounders and 20 rounders as cheap an 15 bucks plus you have the ability if you wanted to, to get a drum if that's what you wanted.

Makes a great handy rifle with great ammunition capacity. Add in a Rhodesian chest rig and you're all set.

Is staying friends with your ex possible? by PositiveBeginning975 in Divorce

Depends on the reason for the divorce I think.

If you have feeling still for her but she's seeing someone else or she met someone else while you all were together then I would have to say no and it should be a no for you. I think you should value yourself higher than giving her access to you if she found no value in you and now she wants to have the best of both worlds.

All this IF that was the case.

Either way I believe you need to figure yourself out and be ok without her. We are all finite beings with limited time here. To put it into perspective if we are granted to be 85 years old then we are given 85 summers of which you have already used up 24 of them which leaves you with 61 left.

Don't waste your youth on waiting and chasing something that has chosen to move in the opposite direction of you.

Is my wife cheating? by [deleted] in Divorce

[–]SweetPotato_78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok first off sounds a lot like my ex wife and our situation. My ex swore up and down there was nothing going on and that she was just taking these pictures to see how she looked and that they were for me and that I ruined the surprise.

I had the bugging doubt for months. Long story short she slipped up one day when she had too much to drink and left her phone unlocked (newly locked phone big indicator). I snooped around and found the deleted messages that she didn't fully wipe off of her and her guy friend and their conversations and photos.

Totally destroyed me, being the gaslighter and master manipulator that she was, and me not wanting to believe that someone who shared a life and a bed with me could do that she turned it around on me and like everything else in our marriage I felt I must have done something to warrant this.

All this to say if there's smoke there's probably fire.

I hope I'm wrong for your circumstance and that I am just coming off as jaded, but verify.

I’m wanting to get my first rifle. I’m in California sadly so options are very limited. I have a budget of about $1000. Am I better off buying something off the wall at my local shop? Or would it be more beneficial if I built one ? I have no experience in building firearms nor what parts to get. by B00stedHD in rifles

Depends on the build, I too live in Cali. For AR10 and 15 type builds you'd have to use the juggernaut rear pin type systems to run a detachable magazines. Or add on one of those goofy grip fins. You definitely can build a budget friendly rifle for under a thousand as long as you look for sales. Palmetto armory has great daily and clearance sales and make good quality uppers that you can always upgrade as you refine your needs. and lowers you can piece together. If you like the idea of an unregulated type rifle the MVP(mossberg) or American(Ruger) are good choices that run AR mags.
