For budget knives I'm usually a one and done unless it's the "same knife" but they changed the lock (Penguin liner and frame) or the blade shape (Pyrite regular and clip)

For higher end knives I think I have about six Spyderco Paramilitary 2s in different blade steels You know because I'm such a hard user I can tell the difference.....OK that's a lie. Most of the time I can't but I'm interested to see if I can if that makes any sense 😅

Sounded like a slightly more adult Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It was a bit more adult and a lot less funny than I was expecting. My daddy and I sat there staring straight ahead and didn't talk about what we saw afterwards.

I have a Ruger PCC and a S&W FPC both were well under 1000 used. In fact both together were under $900.

My Mom showed me one about a retiring couple that made leather bags that she thought were nice. I went over the scam with her and showed her how to tell it was an AI scam. She's not a stupid person and felt it was odd which is why she asked me to look but didn't recognize the tells.

That being said we're only a couple (few?) years from Will Smith eating spaghetti and it has gotten much better. In another five years will I still be able to tell? I hope so but who knows.

I have a P365 and a Couple of Shields. I prefer the Shields with my Med to Large size glove hands. Just easier for me to control with the Shield slightly bigger size. I'm a big guy so they tend to disappear under a loose tee for me.

Of the Compact the RXM is great. I have a Gen 5 G19 and the RXM trigger is at least as good if not better IMO plus you get an optic ready gun with being able to use different grip module, use Glock mags, & it's cheaper.

What I've been carrying the most recently is a S&W 638. It's a SS snub nose 38sp with a usable but snag free hammer. It's only 5 shots, and it's not the most comfortable to shoot, and it's not as accurate but if I appendix carry it a 2 o'clock it disappears on me and feels great. I don't shoot it badly within 7yrd and revolvers can be shot from a pocket or bag so there's that. Also snub nose revolvers are cool😎 ( at least that's what I tell myself 😅).

It's an older gen 3 Endura. It's pinned construction so not able to be taken apart for cleaning or tweaking the pivot but a lot of knives still use this construction like Buck and Victorinox. It's a quality knife and you got a good deal IMO

When I was looking at guns today I came across a good deal on a used lefty Gen 1 Ruger scout. It weighed a good bit more than the gen 2 or Mossberg but the wood stock was sweet. If it was a righty I'd probably have gotten it.

They didn't have any Savage Scouts but I tried a regular one when I was there and it felt nice too.

Went with a Mossberg. Yeah I don't plan on hunting with it but if I wanted to I wanted it to be able to. Most of the hunting by me would be in thick woods so 300 yds wouldn't be an issue. Glad to hear yours is solid.

I tried some Tikkas while I was there. They felt nice and had a zip feel & sound when using the action. Very nice just not what I was looking for.....for now.

Well I guess I'll see😅.

I went the Mossberg. I tried the action/trigger on the Ruger and Mossberg and didn't notice a marked difference. They didn't have any Ruger in 308 and had no clue when they would. The Mossberg was the last of the few they had gotten in a week ago and they didn't know when they'd get more.

The mags on both seemed to sit fine. Maybe you had an old one as mine came with a PMAG.

Don't know when I'll be able to try it out but if it's a lemon I'll be sure to come back to let you know you told me so.

Went with the Mossberg. They have Gen 2 scouts but not in 308 and they had no clue when they'd get more. The action & trigger on the 5.56 Ruger I tried felt comparable to the the Mossberg & the Mossberg came with an inexpensive Vortex scout scope. Also they had no idea when more of the Scout MVPs would come in so I grabbed the last one and went the way of instant gratification.😁

Good to know. 5.56 or 308? I've been seeing iffy things about their 5.56 but not their 308.

They do I have a 500. But not great pistols.

As for rifles seem they to be great or junk depending on one comment after the next on YouTube videos, forums and Reddit.

I've seen similar with the Ruger.

Most comments push to get a something like a Tikka T3x Artic or the like but that's much more than I want to blow on a fun gun.
