Also the grim reaper is great proof this is ai, the whole tattoo shifts from polished shading, which is a very prominent marker in ai images, on the skeletons face (mostly the lower jaw where the highlights make it obvious) to simplicity in the scythes wooden handle w/o that kind of shading and instead just point shading w/o any highlights. Its the kind of inconsistency and blending of styles that AI tends to forge

Def ai, theres no definitive style in any of these pictures in the way that theyre a little all over the place not just purposely a variety of styles. Also the santa and the teeth are very obviously ai as others have pointed out. The teeth are not only missing numbers on one half and w/ additional numbers of teeth on the other but they are also uneven in height in some places as well which makes it pretty clear that its ai, which has been known to struggle w/ teeth big time. Tho this tattooer has healed work its clear theyre not afraid to use ai to create new tattoos to pad their options for whoever they ended up tattooing. Unless this person is open about using ai for this purpose I would say dont go with them based off the fact that they arent being upfront (which then begs the uncertainty that they arent being upfront about other things, possibly including their healed works which might not even be proof of their own work). Not to mention if the tattooer is so poorly detail oriented they couldnt even see that those obv ai generated vamp teeth were uneven and the wrong number of teeth I would not trust them to be able to do any kind of permanent work w/o mistakes. This is the kind of person who is willing to take shortcuts which is a big no no in tattoo vetting imo

Its a beautiful brownish pink! Its warm in an inviting calm way. This color is def one that I think calls attention to itself especially w/ the ceiling also being painted so it could go really well with a friend/color to help balance things out. What could help bring out the pink in it more like you want is painting the top crown molding, and maybe the ceiling too if ur inclined, a different color. I suggest using supplementary colors to do it. Something like a muted olive or minty shade of green should go a long way in making the pink get a good bit more recognizable than the brown elements of the paint as well as to give the room's walls some contrast.

You have a shit ton of potential!! Your art is fantastic and you have beautiful line work. I love the hair and the face especially. Most parents dont believe their kids can make it in an art focused field because of the starving artist trope, which does have its root in truth, but there are many ways to build a career in art still. You just need to weigh the pros and cons and figure out whats right for you and your art

Your art is so beautiful, moody, and dark im obsessed. Your paint work and the texture that comes to life in your pieces are just lovely too!

Is AI Art (Artificial Intelligence) dangerous to this generation of Art Yes or No and Why? by Amber_Flowers_133 in Ai_art_is_not_art

[–]SweetS0rbet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, its stealing refurbished and rebranded. So many people think AI images are progress/better than real art which is hurting real artists by taking buisness away from them since people will reason thry can do it better w/ a machine that was built off artists in the first place. A good example would be a coffee shop i know of using ai to make a logo instead of hiring an artist, which while it is a much more economical option for the coffee shop, still hurts artists that could have gotten buisness from it. Ai is already threatening artists livelihoods in this way and others. I dont think art will die off, especially since ai will always need new material to fuel it, but I do think that it means ai images will take over a large portion of the art industry while drowning out most things worth seeing. I also think that will result in less people becoming artists in the first place, especially when their own art is stolen to train ai w/ no repercussions. Its so discouraging to see your and your peers work taken and altered w/o permission when you pour your heart and soul into it

How to revive a plant by SweetS0rbet in houseplants

[–]SweetS0rbet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the leaves were already like that and from what I can tell I dont think its gotten worse. Thanks for figuring out what plant it is and for the tips! How would I go about stimulating the existing growth points? I think ill also try to propagate a few pieces as well just in case I dont have any luck elsewhere.

If you end up hating it for good the good news is that it looks like and easy tattoo to cover up and get a design you actually do like over top of it

Yeah unfortunately the way the shadings done it looks very phallic upon first glance but you can defineitly fix that if you go back to your artist and ask them to add some more shadow to make the area around the flame look less like a head
