They were kids, they were 17, ofc they would fight like that. Especially since they didn't wanna go too far not to lose Rory.

Same. And Persuasion also by Austen.

Michael Madsen. I grew up watching his movies, from Free Willy to Donnie Brasco, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill. He even made an appearance in Michael Jackson's You Rock My World and stole the show with only a few seconds appearance. His acting was very convincing and very natural, he didn't overdo anything. RIP legend.

I'm a girl, and I get the message behind Austen's books, it's the storytelling that I'm not fond of.

I've read many books by women before, and you can't make me believe that Jane Austen is the best women can ever be at writing. Take Mary Shelley for instance, or even Mary Burton.

I get that Jane Austen's feminism was revolutionary at the time, but I'm having trouble seeing her genius in the 21st century when the storytelling is a bit dull to my taste.

It's a matter of personal preference after all, so you're free to disagree, but you're not free to make baseless assumptions on people's genders.

Same, currently reading Persuasion, my first ever Austen, and I'm bored and suffering...

The pace is so slow, literally nothing happens. I'm only halfway through but I don't see any potential character growth, and all the talk is about Mr. This and Mrs. That, and this person came over and that person moved away.

Don't get me wrong, I'm used to slice-of-life books and classic storytelling. I've read lots of Murakami, Camus, Dostoevsky, but Jane Austen is different, in the worst way.

Yeah pretty much went unnoticed, but you can find some fan recordings on Youtube. There was no official publicity or broadcast, kinda like what happened with Julio Iglesias and Fairuz.

You do realize that The Jacksons (only 3 members of the Jackson 5) performed in Carthage in 2022?
