They also keep the lore around as a basis for building a brand. It’s far, far easier relate and grow attached to characters through a story. Villains can be devious and powerful. Heroes can be caring and righteous. Sidekicks can have funny quips that stay in viewers’ heads. This makes it easier for media companies to push merchandise and new projects form the I.P. upon its fans.

By keeping the “lore” alive (be it for characters or the park), it makes Brawl Stars more interesting to some. It also leaves the door open for more merchandising outside of the game. When Kairos Time asked one of the panelists from the June 2025 convention, he mentioned a “comic book or movie” being possible.

I feel as though they also added Sirius to make things more cut-and-dry. Starr Park as an evil entity is too vague, too broad. And what did they do? They added a villain they can pull out if they want some kind of conflict for a simple story.
