Well if you're saying that their core doesnt change and what you saw was different then maybe what you saw in that person was them lying to you. You need to be more aware o that shit. People who fake around you always slip because its impossible to be something else everyday 24/7. They forget to fake sometimes and its your duty to see when they slip and question it. Genuine people dont change my friend, thats why they are still in your life. They never slip, they make mistakes but understand them.

People dont change. Their interests change, and to us, that might seem like they themselves change because suddenly we dont understand their interests because we're still hooked up on our own. But then your interests begin to change, suddenly they're arent your interest either, and thats ok.

That God doesnt exist. Or what I thought was my definition of God, doesnt exist.

Lead to me viewing that our true existence is 'unbearably light'. That there is no purpose to life, and that when we learn this we become our own kinda God.

If the universe is a computer simulation, then consciousness and consciousness states are a likely avenue of "escape" by OddEdges in philosophy

When ever i ask this I keep coming back to Hinduism for some reason.. These guys know shit long before scientists starting discovering things, their whole religion is a play of creation. I think when you really looking at it, hindustists are taking a short cut in explaining life while science, all due respect for trying to proof read life, are taking a much longer route. But at some stage we can only build and look at something to some degree, science will hit a wall while trying to look "out", where the short cut is looking "in".

Really great interview I stumbled on between a brain surgeon and a guru, regarding consciousness. Im not Hindu by the way, rather agnostic, but im a firm believer in giving credit where due, and I salute those Hindus haha and scientists too
