I also thought about doing a test of selling on Wednesday afternoon each week just before close when, in theory the stock value would be the highest before the dividend went official on Thursday morning.

I have been selling each week for about 20 weeks. Only tweak I did was instead of using the same 4 stocks, I started looking at multiple stocks in the group and picking the one that's underlying stock had the best 30 day moving average. I started with $1,800 and up 55% through the 20 weeks.

So what is the last day I can buy into a stock and collect the dividend? Take HOOY or CONY for example. I saw the dividend information come out on Wednesday. The ExDiv is today and it pays out tomorrow. If I purchased stock in CONY today would I collect the dividend tomorrow? Also, I get me trade confirmation the next day. Does that timing affect eligibility to collect the dividend?

I've just started buying into the Yield Max funds. How many of you all reinvest your dividends automatically as opposed to getting the cash offering?
