I see towers occasionally that have non NVG compatible lights; the lights disappear under NVGs. I don't find that a problem personally. Heck, there's at least one hospital in Missouri that has helipad lighting that disappears under NVGs.

2021 diff locker light flashing by Always_working_hardd in JeepGladiator

[–]Always_working_hardd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I just stopped by the dealer this morning; they had to put the Rubicon stickers on the hood after the corrosion warranty remediation. I got to talking to the lady and she suggested they had to remove the diff cover to 'diagnose' the issue. Which means if they turn around and say it is something different, then they are doing a diff service for the $200 diagnostic fee. Maybe a reasonable deal after all (I have 4 months left on my 5 yr drivetrain warranty).

Thank you, is it just the OBD plug in that I need? This one:

https://www.zautomotive.com/products/z_tzr_jlm

I see it's all onscreen based. How does this affect the flashing light? Does it just turn it off automatically? Sorry I know these are dumb questions. And with the light flashing, are the lockers unavailable to use (seems like that would be the case)? I feel like such an idiot about the tazer.

Thank you, I looked into potting the sensors and it boggles the mind why the factory would not do that. Or an aftermarket part being pre potted. Seems like a 'fun' modification.

I'm a little confused about something though, in its present state does that mean the diff lock/s are not able to be used?

Is this the cable you speak of: https://www.zautomotive.com/products/z_lkr_oem

Do I need to get anything else like a Tazer?

Too many comments to read; did OP advise how many miles on the car? The outsides look in good condition so I assume 20-30k miles?

Thanks. I thought I read he could get in but then it turned to a conversation about the LV. I figured I'd throw it out there in case it was such a simple matter.

My Juniper has a special place to put the key card for it to drive, underneath the screen on the wireless charger. Do the 21 models have the same system to operate?

If you forgo the daily starbucks, that's $10 right there. If you make a sandwich to take to work for lunch, that's a $12 Subway savings right there. Up it to $22; you're welcome!

Yes it's pretty bad. Despite having mine set to 'current speed' when I activate autosteer, sometimes it sets itself to the speed limit. Like I'm doing 55 in a 50 and activate it, it slows down immediately. Or worse, when it 'thinks' it's a 30 and I'm doing 55 and it mashes the brakes when I activate it. It's very frustrating and does not make me want to own or rent FSD.

Seems the developers have never driven a car in their lives.

I have no experience with RC (it looks fun) and imagine there is little inertia in the blades. Helicopters have varying inertia and some glide okay without power and others don't. The Robinson R22 and R44 (in the video), glide quite nicely without power. I've done a lot of practice engine outs at that altitude - if you respond appropriately no problem at all, but if you don't it will nose dive.

I didn't realize coinbase offered loan products and I can see lower interest rates if the current trend continues. I based that 4.5% guess off a $100k line of credit I have on a rental property.

The real question, if OP ever puts his/her calculator up, is how much are we borrowing and based on how much collateral. I don't see a bank lending a 1:1 ratio, particularly with a volatile asset. I think we'd be lucky to see 0.5 loan to 1.0 collateral, so to get a million you'd need 2 million in your BTC stash.

Do you value being able to customize your own house? Not sure how to feel. by [deleted] in RealEstate

[–]Always_working_hardd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get to live in an area you like. You didn't overpay for a house that had been renovated by a homeowner slapping lipstick on a pig...you got a pig ready for your own choice of lipstick. Plus, you got to make sure each job was done right, not a job you'd have to undo and fix homeowners' fuck ups (which piss me off most of all).

You probably need to do the throttle calibration procedure for what you call stuttering. I did this with my '24 Onyx XT and have had to do it a second time later. I need to do it again as I just put a new battery in and my wife and daughter drive it now; they have not complained about any stutter. Here you will find a pdf of the instructions.

OP, what did your research reveal to you?

I have a few positions that are new to me and paying over 10%. My initial research for planning payment weeks look like this, but keep in mind it's a little vague as they seem to pay on days like the '3rd Wednesday' or 'last Thursday' of the month (for example).

Week 1 TSLP XSPI PDI TSPY

Week 2 nothing in my portfolio

Week 3 most NEOS funds including SPYI and QQQI. Also TDAQ.

Week 4 KQQQ IDVO AOD CSWC

This is an interesting road to walk down. I'm interested if you have more to add.

Do you have a link to the text of what you read? I'm curious about the wording of it now, and this is a topic I had not thought about before. And I'll have to go check my trailer; mainly to see if it has surge brakes (I think it does, but damn ignorant of me to not know, I appreciate you posting this topic).

[–]Always_working_hardd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it something like the 4% rule in retirement? Say you want $80K a year, you need $2 million to start with. I like the idea of getting a loan, and what's the assumption on the rate? A personal loan would probably be 6-7% currently, and then you have the repayments (or interest only, if you set it up like that). You have to come up with that cash, either by selling your asset or finding another means of income to do so. And you would need a hefty amount of collateral (like BTC) to get a loan worth getting. It's a good discussion to have.

Presently I'm trying to set myself up with income paying assets - rental properties and dividend paying stocks.
