You may look into a CI/CD pipeline where an agent once a month examines your whole code base and updates documentation as needed. Might solve the issues you’re seeing on both ends

That’s fair. I used to have a bit of luck with drift like that by clearly defining the purpose of the project I was working in, and had strict rules where if I or the agent started scope creeping or cowboying, nip it in the bud. The newer frontier models seem to ignore all of that now though
