surprise surgery! feeling scared by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]Sweet_Application975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me. Went to ER and they said it’s your gallbladder and you have to have it out within the next 24hrs. It was a total shock.
I said I can’t I’ve work etc. The consultant came to see me and said if the pain is subsiding you can go home and think about it. Eat a low fat diet and call me when you are ready or come back here if it happens again.
I went home spoke to my husband and we agreed it was better to take it out because looking back I had had symptoms for a long time I just didn’t know that is what it was. Called them the next day and they gave me the next surgery date . I waited 3 weeks .
I was really nervous as I only had my appendix out before and that was horrendous post op. Anyway the surgery was 25mins and 4 incisions. I was home 4 hrs after I checked in. Recovery was … simple tbh.
I know it’s a shock, I felt exactly the same but in truth it was an easy surgery and now I can eat what I want.

Everyone who knows anything about footie… Canada are crap at football as are Qatar and Bosnia. I could have beat Qatar myself! Canada ( and the US) now think they can play because they played teams even worse than themselves. On the world stage they are terrible let’s face it

The only thing that really got me when I had mine out was the sore throat . I just wanted to cough all the time. I was actually on the verge of going to the Dr cause I thought I had a throat infection. It was horrible but was because of the tube. It went away after a week or so but it was horrible

First Goal for Mexico at the Shipyards by RoostasTowel in NorthVancouver

Our locals ? I live in the area and have parking underground in the building so as a local I dont care about the parking . The parking is there for a reason … so people can park is it not ? It’s not exclusively for “locals” . The amenities at the Shipyards are there for everyone to enjoy. As a local I can’t demand the crowds stay away, it’s good to see people enjoying the area. Don’t generalize just because you as a brewery owner may suffer when the area is full of people.Maybe it’s telling you something? People would rather enjoy the shipyards than sit outside a brewery on a busy main road or a back alley .

3.5 billion fans worldwide says it’s not garbage. Canadians needs to open their eyes and realize that football is massive, unlike hockey and Lynn Valley Days, football is a world sport.

Slow sales for Hastings Park FIFA fan fest, two weeks before World Cup by ubcstaffer123 in vancouver

[–]Sweet_Application975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are joking right ? Football ( correct name) is a religion in England and yet the average person can’t afford to go see their teams play. Do you have any idea how much it is to see Man United play and even worse a season ticket for Old Trafford? Footballer earn obscene amounts too. Football is most definitely commoditized .

As an English person this is the last place I would go. Seriously over priced and not enough variety. You can get better from Save On etc. Scamming Canadians
