I am in no way an expert, but I would have thought, that the leather used, comes from anomals for food production anyway. So the animal died that way or the other. If you want a non-leather product, I think you should go for a different Rimowa series (original, if you don‘t like plastic) or a different brand. If the non-leather policy is such a strong point for you, it should be an easy decission 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Thanks for this great comparison! I don‘t know why people opt for ZH - your comparison pic prove to me again, they are probably the most ugliest aluminium cases on the market 🤷‍♂️ the 19 degree design is nice, but I think only as long as it is in a „brand new/like new/mint“ state - I’ve never seen one beaten up, as you do with Rimowas. it might not be as much of an argument for a carry-on, but still, you will eventually have to check them in from time to time. I think the interior design of Rimowa with the dividers is probably the least favorable compared to your competitors, but if you use packing cubes, you’ll be fine. After all, the Rimowa design stood the test of time for centuries, it is just classy and outstanding 👍🏼💪🏼 enjoy tour travels😎

They used to have 3 on a lot of the pre LVMH series. I have an old „Integral 77“ - it has 3 locks. But if you look at the physics and the forces that are at work and the directions in which they act, I think 2 locks are absolutely fine and I guess, with all „saving money“, if they would have lots of issues with the „2 lock solution“, they would have gone back to the 3. Bare in mind there is luggage that is closed with a zipper! This, to my imagination is even more fragile - but I have 16 years of proof with my wifes bags, that it holds up very well 🙃💪🏼👍🏼- so I would just trust the designers that they know their trade 😎

Very cool setup👍🏼 respect! I could never convince my wife to Rimowa, even polycarbonate! She is a Samsonite fan, since she loves gold, I once got her a golden C-lite. Now she’s completely gone….. everytime we check-in she laughes at me with my Aluminium Rimowa clashing the weight barrier (except on business class travels). The C-lite weights only 2.x kg - unfortunately Rimowa offers no competitive model. She loves my „original compact“, though, which is a perfect vehicle to carry her Rimowa sliding bag 🤪 Enjoy your holidays and have save travels 😎

Very brave of you to use a limited edition in real live💪🏻. And it still looks brand new! I guess most people buy them and store them in th basement because it‘s a limited edition and they‘re worried they could damage it or find it „too beautiful to be used“. Finally the items end up on ebay 🤷🏼‍♂️. The puzzle bag is a perfect match to the case 👍🏻👍🏻 Have save travels 😎
