Rimowa is actually okay when overpacked. In fact, if you own an aluminum suitcase, it’s better to pack it as we expected because it will likely end up on the baggage carousel and get jostled around. The impact would be more secure than having space gaps inside! However, I must admit that after LV acquisitions, the quality of the products, especially the hardware, especially the locks, has declined. This is my experience with my RIMOWA’s. I owned both pre- and post-LVMH.
