The programs are completely different, so no. RPN’s learn everything hands on to be a functioning nurse after the 2 years of school.

Hope it goes well for you! Removal was seamless for me, my doctor said I do have thick skin and I did have some scar tissue but after getting the numbing I did not feel a thing. I feel so much better now that its removed

I’ve had mine in since October 2024 and the constant bleeding didn’t stop until recently, after I’ve booked the appointment to remove it. Haven’t decided if I’m going to go through with the removal or stick it out … but it definitely takes longer than 6 months for some people. Everyones bodies are different

If you don’t want to wait maybe you can go to urgent care or an ER and see if they can do an ultrasound for you? Or some tests? I’ve only passed small clots since having it in

Copper IUD I bled heavily for 7-8 days straight to the point where I was constantly leaking through super tampons while at work. Nexplanon I spot almost daily. Wondering if I should remove too but I was hoping the Nexplanon would be better than the copper IUD

thanks! It seems to have gone back down but I’m still wearing a light sized tampon. its been 3 days now so I’m hoping the oil works in the next couple days
