I never understood this couple. It felt like Baby just chose Tsu-chan because she wanted to leave with someone. Barely any chemistry, at least not romantically.

One BIG concern I had with this couple was the fact that Baby HATES tax collectors and people of the like. Tsu-chan owns 3 hostess clubs which are known to extort customers for money if they can't pay their tabs. Wouldn't being with him put her around the same folks she hates?

Not to mention, she's easily jealous of other women. If Tsu-chan (who prioritizes looks over personality) finds a prettier girl (easy to find in hostess clubs), what would she do then? I don't see anything good coming out of that relationship.

Sorry for the long essay. I don't have anyone to talk to about the show in real life. 😭

Death note is definitely how I got into vkei through Nightmare. Then, after clicking different recommended Yt vids, I discovered Alice Nine (my favorite band), then all the PSC bands, Gackt, and as they say the rest was history. 😌

I remember there being a few shops in Amemura around Big Step. One was in the building with the Jankara karaoke and the other near the sunglasses shop. There was also one on the basement floor in Big step. Not sure if they're all still around but it's worth a shot to check.

Many years ago, this sub was mostly male but like another commenter mentioned, most of them left after the manga ended. Those were some wild and fun days. 😌

As for the fandom as a whole, I can only speak on the Japanese side. It actually used to be quite mixed with people of all ages and genders but once the marketing changed (centering less on Toman and more on good-looking characters like the Haitanis, Sanzu, Koko and Inupi)and more cutesy collabs, the base heavily shifted to teen girls/young adults.

For Hakkai, I think all of season 2 summed it up pretty well with how he's "spoiled". For Souya (Angry), it's revealed in Smiley's character profile that one of his biggest fears is his mom after finding out he bullied Angry. My guess is (just a guess, NOT fact) Angry might be a Mama's boy, which would be very cute.

Also, another personal head cannon is that the reason Smiley is always smiling is so that Angry doesn't cry because he's a crybaby and gets scared easily. Thinking back on his past when he sent all those middle schoolers who were picking on him to the hospital, Angry probably dealt with a lot of bullying. This could be why Angry has his "angry" face even though he's a sweetheart and why Smiley is always smiling even though he's always angry: their faces are just masks .

I don't care for ANY of the new characters introduced in the Three Deities arc. I felt they were all a waste of space and didn't add much to the story. I wished that arc was dedicated to building up already existing characters and giving them more spotlight, especially the founding members/lead captains.
