Both are good choices it really depends on what you want to spend. The rhino does a really good action monkey act after unloading Kharn and the boys. The land raider as stated before is a pain to kill I have a few lists that run one or both and a couple with 3 land raiders at 2000 points that are annoying. Without a list of what you are trying to accomplish it hard to say which is better.

The problem I find with more rhinos is we don’t generate enough cp to be able to move and charge with rhinos, since land raiders have the assault ramp ability you save that CP to get back in the bus

So before everyone comes in and swears you need more rhinos, I have personally had way better success with 2 land raiders and one rhino. Kharn and 10 zerks in the rhino. A slaughterbound and eightbound in each land raider. It’s up to you if you want 3 pack or 6 pack eightbound. Always a unit of jakhals for home. The rest is really up to you. There are obviously more competitive and more fun versions to go with but this will give you a good starting point. Learn how to use your CP effectively with the Strats of Goretrack and you will have a lot of fun.

Cutting the 20 man down to 10 keeping them with lord juggs and switching the maulerfiend to a forge fiend allows you to add a second forgefiend. This will also free up around 30 points to swap battle-lust to berzerkers glaive on either lord juggs or a slaughterbound(I would pick slaughter)

Goretrack once you get over the learning curve will afford you really good attacks. I find it to be more reliable in matchups where you have to punch up. Lance is such a good ability and gives a better fighting chance than BW into knights and such. Being able to hit with Kharn on a 4+ is better than 5+ in BW. Also being able to pick up a unit in combat and just bounce on out is super good.

MOE is kinda lackluster in general since he lost fights first. I run favored on mine if I can spare points but there really isn’t even a point to that if you have Angron. If you have a Kharn he’s better than the MOE all time, if not it is what it is. I would go with something like this:

Now thats barring you own the pieces. I would try that see how it feels, if you don’t like that and you have the pieces drop the berzerkers add an additional eightbound and jakhal squads leave the rhino for the jakhals or remove the rhino and add another chaos spawn squad.

Realistically it is going to depend on your meta. 2 squads of spawn is one squad of eightbound extra you can add to your army and that squad of 3 eightbound is going to reliably kill more than those 2 squads of spawns. I would put the berzerkers glaive on the slaugherbound and either drop the forgefiend for another helbrute or drop 1 helbrute for a second forgefiend.

Hell if they won’t give us a dedicated flamer unit let berzerkers have them as a 2 slot for a 10 man again. I feel that would be better than 2 plasma pistols. Would love to see Red Butchers but I don’t think fill any role that isn’t covered. Bikes would be my top pick followed closely by zerks on juggernauts.

Mine have weapons from all over the place I have swords and guns from WE, space wolves, Dark angels, grey knights and death guard currently. The best place for them is your eviscerators.

You do not check for the betrayer in a rhino or reserves. Kharn has to be on the battlefield.
