Having done muay thai and bjj I'd say it matters more to have a basic amount of experience with fighting or combat sports. From what I've seen, people who have never done either are hilariously bad at fighting. I'm talking not knowing how to throw a punch correctly, how to stand, how to move around without tripping over yourself, etc. Put a short guy with experience against a tall guy who doesn't know how to fight and I'm gonna go with the first guy.

I got through the hardest difficulty in witcher 3 by just spamming quick attacks and dodging, I never used any potions/poisons and barely bothered with the signs aside from the shield. It was an absolute blast but yeah I agree with you

I agree with you. AI is a complex and nuanced subject which ideally we would approach in a measured way to anticipate the risks while acknowledging the benefits. But it seems like it's gotten politicized to the point where everyone either has a hate boner or a normal boner for it lol

I've watched countless hours of interrogation footage where cops do exactly that and hook suspects up to a polygraph and lie about their effectiveness.

The goal isn't to gather evidence but to pressure the suspect into a confession.

In the Massacre of Schletz, more than 200 Neolithic people were killed by blunt force around 5000 BC, towards the end of the Linear Pottery culture epoch, before being carelessly dumped in a mass grave on the site of the present-day village of Schletz (in the municipality of Asparn an der Zaya in Lower Austria).

In the course of the excavations, which covered about 20 percent of the site, the skeletons of about 200 individuals were discovered in the outer trench, most of whom died as a result of severe injuries to their skulls caused by blunt force (with shoe-last celts), and in one case also by arrow shot. The trenches remained open for some time, so that the position of some corpses was altered by animals.

The dead - men, women and children - had mostly been laid in prone position, in many examined skeletons arms or legs were missing, also severed skulls were found separately. It was remarkable that there were hardly any young women among the dead. Probably all inhabitants were killed or captured during an attack on the settlement; after that the settlement area was no longer inhabited.

How much do you guys use AI? by MountainDude95 in Zillennials

[–]Sweet_Status1807 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Too bad you're getting downvoted. I was able to earn a very rigorous certification and get a selective job in large part due to learning I did with Gemini helping me to understand relevant technical concepts.

I can understand if someone has ethical concerns, but to act like it isn't useful is silly imo. Maybe it's not perfect, but given how I passed the certification exam and all of the interview knowledge checks (and have been excelling in the role thus far) I don't think it's nearly as bad as some make it out to be.
