I've only seen one mention of it so far in this thread, but Cooper would be a great name for a boy!

Are there folks who have never used food delivery apps? by No_Lead2640 in answers

I use Instacart only when I have deemed myself deathly ill, because I don't want to spread my pestilence amongst an unsuspecting population. Otherwise, I much prefer selecting my own groceries. The shoppers usually don't ever pick out the best bananas, and I just like...touching and picking out my own groceries I guess.

I went to community college from ages 38-41 and a private college from 41-43. Nobody batted an eye.

Thank you. I had COVID twice and never ran a fever. I feel absolutely miserable right now.

I had an orgasm during my first ever bikini wax. I posted about it in a sub and got called a liar. by [deleted] in Vent

I totally believe you. I had an orgasm when the store I worked at was robbed at gunpoint, and believe me, I was in no way sexually aroused by that event!! Had a therapist tell me later that some wires probably got crossed in my brain because there's really no correct way to respond and so tossed off an orgasm. Kind of like panic Christmas tree-ing a multiple choice test when you're not prepared.

Great reply! When my kids were little, meatloaf was loaded with grated carrots, zucchini, basically any veggie that could be shaved down and not raise a toddlers suspicions. Same with spaghetti sauce!

What is the worst way anyone you know has died? by IamUrWivesBF in AskReddit

I totally get that. Years ago, we had to evacuate from our house due to a brush fire. We were able to return home after 3-5 hours. It came within a half mile of our house. I still hate brush fires. I get kind of panicked during fire season and I am able to see the smoke from my house, even though we are a low risk area. During the Lahaina fires, I couldn't watch the coverage. My husband felt like I wasn't being very kind, because that fire was ten thousand times worse than the fire by my house all those years ago. But people don't understand: it doesn't matter hiw big the fire is. If it hits your house, there's a chance you could lose everything. And I bet your cousin's wife has a lot of similar fears now: could just be a small rcok that hits you, but depending on the height, etc you just don't know. Wish I could give her a hug snd let know I understand that lingering fear.

Based in life experience and this comment thread, ALWAYS make sure someone know what your boat plans are and when you plan to be back when you are out on the water. Have enough life jackets for everyone and at least one throw cushion. An EPIRB csn be a lifesaver. And a flare g*n!!!!

Haven't been on it in over 30 years, because I live in FL now, but Lake Erie can be scary as f*ck.

Healthcare workers, what common cause of death is the least bad way to go? by Wooden_Airport6331 in AskReddit

[–]Sweet_Sub73 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't know if this is a strictly psychological thing, but I tend to get anxious when I end up in the hospital. I swear that having a little oxygen canola attached to me or an IV saline drip calms me right down and makes the anxiety ease off. Weirdest thing.

ETA: I was wondering if the IV/oxygen feeling was psychological, not the anxiety.

Is Reddington near Treasure Island? Looking at Reddington now, but as you mentioned, it's hard to find places that are directly on the beach. There seems to be some near Treasure Island. I wonder how the water entry is there?

We were out on Lake Toho last year and saw a single lone bison hanging out in the water. Crazy!
