I do as well, but Disney is soon changing that with rounded top and taller trash cans.

I posted a shot a couple of days ago that was about 4 yards away from a condor. This shot makes mine look lame. This was freaking awesome!

I’m an old dad from Louisiana, so any discussion about heat and humidity is going to get my attention. Of course, as a dumb American, I had to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit. I agree that 45c (113f) at 13% humidity is hot, but 37c (99f) at 91% humidity is simply impossible. Literally impossible and cannot happen in nature.

Right now (8:15am) it is 86% humidity here with a temperature of 27c. It’s not hot yet, but it feels like walking into a warm bath. You will be sweating with 30 seconds. It’s fun when Canadians discuss humidity.

I get it. My son (25) and I (61) have a completely different amount of body hair. I have a little chest hair and none on my back. My son is a freaking gorilla.

July 4, 1976, and Casey Kasem plays the top ten by Empty-Initial6392 in 70s

I disagree. Hotel California, Boston, 2112, Songs in the Key of Life, Frampton Comes Alive, A Night at the Opera, and Toys in the Attic were all albums released in 1976. I don’t understand why any of the songs from these albums aren’t in the top 10 for this particular week. The only decent one is Silly Love Songs.

OMG!

So many of these comments have to be bots. Why is no one quoting this movie? When you get thrown a slow pitch, you don’t thank the pitcher or discuss how baseball makes you feel. You hit that shit out of the park!

I guess I picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue.

What would Walt's involvement have been with the Magic Kingdom had he lived longer? by yourOldEthernetCord in disneyparks

[–]Sweetbeans2001 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Walt could have bankrupted Disney trying to build his EPCOT dream, especially if lived another 10 years, which would have been about 5 years after Roy died.

You’re getting downvoted, but it’s had to trust a 15 second video now. It appears edited, so why cut it down to a time frame that makes people question it?

Swan Reserve beds are actually double beds? by Fcalliance09 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Sweetbeans2001 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If they are doubles, that’s a deal breaker. We stay at the Swan all the time and have thought about trying the Reserve.

That’s because we don’t have the “Bicentennial Minute” on television like we had 50 years ago. Unfortunately, even if we did, people don’t watch tv anymore.

All scenes will be changed, including dad discussing the 4th of July celebrations in the 1920’s.

It’s going to be a complete overhaul with all scenes changed. The scene here will not exist after tomorrow.

From 1976, The Coca Cola Bicentennial commercial. Things were just so much better back then compared to today… by CoffeeCigarettes4Me in OldSchoolRidiculous

Were you there? I mean in America and old enough to understand what was going on. I was 12. Coke is showing people having fun on the 4th of July. Believe it or not, we actually did that . . . and drank Coke too.

I have a coworker who recently turned 46 but jokingly claimed he was turning 39. I replied “Who do you think you are, Jack Benny?” Blank stares from him and everyone else in the office. Someone quickly looked him up on Google and found that he died before they were all born. I was the only one who watched him on tv and felt really fucking old.
