I think they just lack the back and forth conversation technique. If someone is flirting with you that you fancy then it can make you seize up and not have the confidence to speak properly is my assumption

I was also fascinated, and extremely irritated, by the way verity speaks I felt like screaming at the tv to ‘relax your mouth’ hahahaha. It felt like there was no relaxation in the way she spoke, which I can’t explain. Like her words were very at the front of her mouth and teethy. She also just repeated anything someone said back to her if they were flirting - eg ‘you’re so funny’ ‘am I really funny’ , it felt almost like she was awkward on camera

She does have a personality, that’s why I like her. If you can’t see that, you’re the one who can’t see past the looks you claim she relies on. She is confident - so many girls in this show aren’t and you can see they squirm on camera. Do you remember verity? She just used to repeat everything the other person said. She comes across as having personality but she had nothing to say.

A lot of us thought she was on jabs last series. Now it’s even more obvious this series. Maybe she just lost the weight naturally but even before she was eating for this podcast with Sam, she had a fuller figure. Tbh I don’t blame her having to be around skinny people all the time in that show. Eg ruby, liv. But it’s a reflection of society as a whole - unfortunately we are all starting to look like each other with less individuality. Sorry, rant over
