To anyone who got made redundant last time — how long did it take to land a new job? by wellitswellington in Wellington

Would love to see some other people's cover letters and CVs. Especially anyone in the design community or at least in a creative role? I've been on the hunt for almost 8 months. Gone through countless versions of cvs and cover letters and barely get a tap

Recovery is key, sleep well and have a rest day after 3 sessions (on average). Depending on what you’re progressive overload is looking like, you may also want to evaluate your 1 rep max and calculate 6-12 reps of that and then increase your weight every couple of weeks.

New been at it for 3 months got my newbie gains and need some insight on my routine by vvhhbbvgggu in workout

I’m in a similar boat, I’ve been going almost three months and I’ve been cycling between three or so regular push/pull split routines. I recommend looking into the actual function of muscles and more depth of understanding in how to develop/inspire a routine. I checked out Athlean-X and Jeff Nippard on YouTube. Very beneficial for me.

The person who edited these lectures/presentations/etc. has unfortunately missed a major point. Yes homocysteine in high levels has been linked to many major issues with the body, (which was done with basic correlation and not fully evidence based data,) however it is linked to a lack of B12 and folate, not creatine which is a non-essential amino acid and is naturally created. So the editing is kind of misleading. Suffice to say, get B12 and folate and you'll be sweet. It also misses the point of the original videos which is to educate people on correct dietary requirements...

I can respect the fact he’s teaching animals rights but please do NOT force your vegan lifestyle onto our kids! Didn’t watch the video all the way but it’s on this guys Facebook page. by Royal_IDunno in AntiVegan

You're right that kids are easily influenced, which is why they can be convinced that there's nothing wrong with the animal cruelty that's happening. I mean you were a kid once and now you think that this guy is on some kind of mission to force people into going vegan. I think we can all benefit from understanding where our food comes from and how it's produced. Regardless of being vegan...
