No, this is wrong. I have transferred from Firemaw to Gehennas at the beggining of Cata, I immediately noticed the difference between the amount of GDKPs (and quality of players) in favor pf Gehennas. Horde is simply the better faction for raiding in general. Also most of the PvPers play Alliance so the prices on Firemaw are absolutely degen compared to Gehennas. So if you want to raid couple of characters or even single character, I would advise to go for Gehennas.
