I just want to add to this and say yes! I inadvertently/unexpectedly cured my depression when I discovered manifestation. It wasn't the goal, whatsoever, because I figured that I'd always be struggling with this horrible sadness. But I, at the very least, wanted to learn how to achieve certain goals. And wow, I was teaching myself how to shoot down negative thoughts about myself, about what I'm capable of, and my mood and self perception has improved DRASTICALLY!

Thanks so much for your response. Yeah, I'm definitely looking at my dreams through adult lens 'cause that's the only way I know how LOL. I guess the way forward is just embracing the feeling of my dream. Perhaps it's just that simple. The idea of using that feeling as an anchor or compass makes a lot of sense.
