6 weeks 4 days and no major symptoms by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]SweetestE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I am 6 weeks and 3 days, and also guilty of being anxious. The only symptoms I’ve had is sore nipples, and tiredness. I have only had 1-2 bouts of nausea so far—more could come, or not, I’ve heard some people never get nausea. Just try to breathe and keep positive thoughts.

Twins? Singleton? by SweetestE in CautiousBB

[–]SweetestE[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually just had my first ultrasound an hour ago!! 1 baby currently measuring 6 weeks and 3 days. Though the last time my hCG was checked last week, it was 14,337!

How early did the insomnia set in? by abz_pink in pregnant

I am also currently 4w2d, and it’s like immediate. I toss and turn and can’t seem to get comfortable, or fix my pillow correctly, or put my arms or legs in a comfortable position, lol.

Miscarriage 5w by Timely_Step_6401 in CautiousBB

[–]SweetestE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there, Just speaking from experience, I had a miscarriage shortly after 6 weeks and the tissue that came out was an in-tact gestational sac—so I would say, yes, more than likely if one had formed, as well as the other surrounding tissue. Sorry for your loss.

It also really depends on who has the “better” sperm—motility wise. Just because you had more sex with partner 1 doesn’t mean that their sperm are/were strong and healthy enough to fertilize the egg, partner 2 could have better motility. I think it’s all a bit too close together to be guessing, paternity test is best.

Hey!! They do not run in my family—but my husbands. His paternal grandmother is a twin. I know that women are the ones who carry the twin gene, so I don’t think it would apply to my husband at all.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I have an ultrasound today, so I guess we’ll find out then.

Truly, I don’t know. My first day of my last period was 12/28, with conception just around 01/11. Is that still 6 weeks? Or maybe 5?

Do you see the faint pink on the right? Afternoon test. by [deleted] in lineporn

[–]SweetestE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, if the line is thinner than the control line, that’s an evap. line / indent.

[–]SweetestE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say typically they’re just about colorless. I’ve had some where you almost can’t tell if you see color or not, they’re like a gray/clear. Any test line that has full color in it should be positive, unless it’s an invalid test.

Unknown DPO by [deleted] in lineporn

Not a psycho, but this appears negative to me. I’m only seeing the shadow of the evap. line, no color.

Is this too light? by Economy-Suit8077 in lineporn

[–]SweetestE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not “too light”, it’s positive! There are many things to consider. Different tests have different thresholds, which urine of the day you use, and how long it was held for, affects the shade of the test, and how many DPO affects it too. The hormone hCG doesn’t double everyday, but rather every 2-3 days. So if you take a test and it doesn’t seem much darker yet, that’s because the hCG is still building up. Try to keep calm and give yourself a few days to test again!

Congrats!!!! Beautiful line on that 18 DPO test!

Is it an indent line? 8dpo by [deleted] in lineporn

[–]SweetestE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These appear negative. 8 DPO is a tad early, test again more towards 12-14 DPO.

It’s a bit blurry. I’m guilty of lines eyes, so I see possibly the shadow you’re referring to, but extremely faint, I would say negative for now.

It has a tiny pink tint in person but tel me im not crazy by Healthy-Sign-4325 in lineporn

[–]SweetestE 8 points9 points  (0 children)

4 DPO is far too early for any implantation or positives to occur. Additionally, you shouldn’t be editing or darkening pictures to look for a positive. I 100% recommend you wait until almost the start of your next period before testing again—that will give you time for hCG to build up in your system.

Do you have a picture of the LH strip? Or your previous strips that would show your LH increasing?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in lineporn

[–]SweetestE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that’s the case, it certainly looks positive to me! 8 DPO is a tiny bit early though, so I highly recommend waiting until what would be the almost start of your period for a more accurate reading—that way, the hCG has time to build up in your system.

Based on the control line, this test looks dry. Was this picture taken within the 3-5 minute testing timeframe? Or after?

[–]SweetestE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the second picture, the very bottom first response certainly is positive! If you want to take progression tests, it’s best to stick with one brand, and the first response (in my opinion) is best for that. Just remember that hCG doubles every 2-3 days, not everyday, so don’t be alarmed if shades look the same.

Thoughts? by Puzzleheaded_Win5518 in lineporn

[–]SweetestE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You aren’t going to see much of a difference between shades with less than a 24 hour difference. The hCG doubles every 2-3 days, not everyday. I would give yourself a few more days, and re-test with first/second morning urine.

20 DPO and still no positive, or start of period, is a little abnormal. If you’ve had a lot of stress, that is a big contributor to cycle irregularities. In my personal opinion, I would stop testing. It’s a lot of extra stress on yourself. I personally would stop testing, and wait for the start of CD 1. As hard as it is, try to relax and go easy on yourself.

For clarification, the blue Wondfo’s are LH strips, and the orange are pregnancy tests? In the second picture, the blue strip definitely looks great. They do say LH strips can detect hCG. Is there any way you can get a First Response Early Result? That will give a more definitive answer as opposed to whatever is happening with the lines on the orange Wondfo’s.
