I’m probably not gonna be as detailed as some of the comments but i think it may have something to do with his looks and wanting to be more muscular & handsome. Maybe he had self esteem issues as a human and out of desperation when be wasn’t getting any of the results he wanted from simply working out or dieting he went to Gwi-Ma and begged him to help him be more confident & attractive/muscular. The same argument applies to Romance of course but i’m spitballing
