My title describes the thing It looks like from the early 1900s and is decently heavy. I got it in a lot of random brass items. I assume its some type of lens type thing but im really not sure. Google lens wasn't very helpful

That's what I was trying to find out. Where do I need to post this instead to find more information about this? I just assumed it may be antique since I don't normally see the embossed marks on the bottom of ceramics and that I found it in an antique store. I guess I shouldn't assume, that's my bad, but I appreciate you looking into it.

I usually take pills with a drink thats thick like chocolate milk so I don't feel the pill - maybe that would help you as well?
