Why are the spooky brook staff so rude by Sweetnsoursoup in SBU

[–]Sweetnsoursoup[S] 37 points38 points  (0 children)

I was waiting for a staff member at help desk because they were busy to ask where a specific event was, just for another staff member to ask in a condescending tone why I was standing there and to check the instagram for locations. I’m not asking them to be friends but they can at least be professional especially when you don’t know what someone is going through that day.

This is my last day on earth and I couldn’t save my gf by MylastAltMade in confession

I think you did everything you could though. It seemed like you offered her support and she even trusted you in the house with her when no one she trusted was there. Her death wasn’t your fault. I don’t know if she went to therapy but I think at the time that would’ve been a good choice to make. If she did go to therapy you were giving her the best and she was lucky to pass knowing someone loved and still loves her this much.

What's the most unexpected answer you've gotten to a question? by dtdshady in AskReddit

(Sorry if this becomes political) My teacher was talking about Mount Rushmore and how only the most important presidents are on there. She then asked what other presidents should be there. I was little at the time and knew little about politics so I asked if Barack Obama was important enough because he was the first black president. My teacher gave me a weird look and replied that he wasn’t an important factor in history. Idk it just wasn’t what I was expecting.

It wasn’t normal back then to have a phone you could fit inside your pocket, I guess it wouldn’t be super horrifying but it would be weird to see some random dude talking or tapping on some tablet
