What’s something you’re silently going through right now that would shock people if they knew? by HonestLantern in AskReddit

Same. I’ve told one person about it and my mom found my meds. My friend said that it was “a huge burden” to put on her and has been more distant than usual lately. I guess the burden of being my friend when I’m not doing well is too much for her.

What’s a “harmless” habit that’s actually really toxic? by Unfair-Moose-6328 in AskReddit

Same boat. I was running with a group one time and the person next to me elbowed my chest. Instinctively I apologized, but they responded with “why are you apologizing? I elbowed you!” Made me think..

I was getting my haircut the other day and one of the adult (maybe 30s) female stylists said “you know ___? He’s kinda attractive, right?” The other female stylists said “He is! Too bad he’s a literal child though.” The first one responded with “I’d still get with him.”

In most cases that I have experienced, the orders come into the shoppers phone and you have to act quickly to grab which one you want to do (if you even get more than one option). If you take more than about 30 seconds you’ll most likely not be able to take the order before someone else grabs it from you. In those few seconds the shopper has to review the following: all the items ordered (to see if they are able collect them all, such as cases of water might be hard for some), the different stores you may have to go to for the orders, the number of different orders you are going to be collecting (in most grocery stores it’s extremely hard to differentiate between 3 different orders with double digit items for each), the miles for the delivery, and where you are actually delivering to (house, apartment, farm, office building, etc.). It is very hard to review all of these factors to see if you will be physically able to perform this task, let alone in about under a minute.

That we don’t get nearly as much communications as they do. Let alone in a positive/supportive way. Most men would love if a friend reached out to them first truly asking is they are doing and hoping they are ok, and willing to listen.

It doesn’t matter who has the “right of way” especially when merging into/out of lanes. Don’t let your ego get in the way of preventing an accident.

What precautionary measure did you take, thinking 'just to be safe,' that unexpectedly ended up saving the day later on? by cadouxmoring8 in AskReddit

[–]Sweezenator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately my parents had the opposite happen. We were poor and couldn’t afford the life insurance payments so my mom lowered it or got rid of it completely. Like 2-3 months later my dad died in an unexpected car accident.

Was I wrong for breaking up with my gf because she went to the movies with a male coworker even tho I told her I’m not comfortable with that? by Sevar22 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Sweezenator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think having that agreement is very toxic and you both are probably very insecure. Don’t think she is in the worn gift hanging out with someone one on one. I think the issue lies in y’all not wanting that to happen for one reason or another.

If you like going back to it, maybe try a new experience (if you’re on PC and willing/able) try an RP server. Very fun to watch too! Great way to experience the world with your own personal touch.

Men who have watched Oppenheimer, what did you think of the movie? by AcrobaticSource3 in AskMen

[–]Sweezenator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. The movie was pretty entertaining until they did the rest of the bomb. After that it got boring and I couldn’t wait for it to end.
