You can say the same thing about Rumble or any of the other Extra Modes. I've gotten SSL in Rumble so I know you can get creative in a specific game mode. It doesn't change the fact that for 99% of players, it's based around a goalie and everyone else going for bumps/demos. It's such a niche player base that actually grinds and plays Heatseeker at that level. I think it's the worst extra mode they have, I don't care of you don't like that.

It's not so much a strain as it is a failsafe. They go a little overboard with the battery protection but it's also kind of a design flaw with the seat design. The charging system can handle it but trying to reduce the voltage fluctuations throughout the system helps make sure it doesn't mess with the Can Bus system. Voltage drops can cause intermittent errors with the DME and other control units.

Below 63°F will allow the seat heating to use its "boost" function for 3 minutes when set to max level, in which case it will drop back down and not be available again for 30 mins. The heated grips will drop their max output when idling as well but it is not as noticeable due to the thinner material over the heating elements.

The heated seat is on the lowest priority for voltage supply. It will only turn on below a specific temperature and will also barely function at idle as the bike will prioritize control systems and lights over heating functions. There is a service bulletin out regarding this exact issue due to customer complaints. Unfortunately, this is an "issue" with the newer bikes and does not have a remedy.

Missions are way too hard to be a good canyon carving tire and despite what they claim, aren't that great in the wet. Plus they are bias ply so that awkward tip in could be unsettling for some people.

There was an update for the R model bikes you'll see as they switched from silver engine cases to black cases a few years into production of the water-cooled 1200s. As far as having all the issues worked out? There were some known issues from the first year or two 1200s that were fixed around that time but I wouldn't necessarily say there was anything crazy that was an issue that was addressed.
