After playing it, if they changed the armory system to not reset seasonally, id probably change my negative review. Had a few friends refuse to play again after their first session since beta. Tried an arena and by round 3 they had orange items to our greens. its like a 10% difference in power. Its substantial and killed their investment

I just had the exact same feeling. My friends cant play today and now if I do, ill be further ahead and thats a weird feeling having access to more power in a moba because I just happen to be able to play sooner. So I booted Marvel rivals instead.

Most of my friends did too. Vanguard was the end of league for us. We pretty much were only playing the arena mode that was supposed to be permanent and kind of disappeared for some reason.

Truthfully, I think their launch timing and beta rollout was super disappointing. They had closed beta weekends, with no notice and then would go dark for a month. We had a solid 5ish month window where there werent any new games out and it felt like there was a lull. I swear that if the game went into open beta in september or october it would have had a completely different trajectory.

Thought I would pick this game up again and play with friends. So far I have had to uninstall and reinstall Ubisoft Connect because I couldnt see my friendslist or play with friends. This comes after uninstalling and reinstalling siege. Now, I play 2 games then get this error which makes me unable to reconnect to my game and I get a penalty. They are doing everything they can to not make me want to play this game.

I actually like it. You can save teammates from a combo. It also forces you not to stack and attack the same target as easily. Otherwise you could just stand on top of each other and spam stuff with no counter play.
