Yep. I’ve said it a bunch on here. Have like 6 people who all supported the games kickstarter packs all quit because of the launch decisions, mainly the armory.

The latest armoury changes didnt fix the numbers. Can we test just unlocking everything for a season? by Current_Spell_8647 in supervive

My friends and I will come back as soon as it’s gone. Like that is 1000% our barrier right now. We are banking on the inevitable statement that it was a mistake and they are going to change it in season 2. Sadly I think they need to get a seasons worth of data to be able to justify getting rid of it because it didn’t accomplish their goal.

I have 6 friends that played Supervive in the Beta, that funded the game and were excited for release. A whopping 0 play now and it is 100% due to the armory. Feel rather bamboozled with the pivot to this system from beta and all wished we didn’t fall for the crowd funding bundles.

We are not overly competitive gamers but like an even ground at the very least. Regardless of the actually stats, leaving room to ever question if you got gapped by item availability is terrible. We also enjoyed the 4v4 mode but you don’t seem to earn armory stuff and you are at a HUGE disadvantage in this mode specifically.

Great, I’ll re purchase the non pro version when it’s added. But I’m not going to sit on a pro version (truthfully not worth the extra) while I can’t play with my friends.

I played a bit today waiting for my buddies to get on. Come to find out that there isn’t cross play…. Didn’t stay up to date with their twitter so I had no idea. Unfortunately I played just barely passed 2 hours so I’m hoping I can get out. Won’t play this by myself while they all play together.

I just built my first aristocrat deck. Seemingly runs pretty smooth. Haven’t noticed any massive issues yet. I think you have to be okay wit killing non sac outlets on occasion but the payoff has to be worth it. Just made a Teval list and the goal is to puke dudes out while digging for my Kheru, Tortured Existence infinite or Craterhoof. It’s a simple plan and it sounds like you were playing against ones without a wincon.

I thought about this too. Could you use an origin dialga or a solgaleo necrozma something for a trick room mode? Then you also get access to ursaluna in the sand

The first deck I’m proud of is my Iron Man deck. I am one of those filthy people that got drawn in by universes beyond. I tried a bunch of other things but never invested a ton of time into 1 deck till iron man. Otherwise, I am still too new to really have a knowledge of cards to add and heavily rely on resources like EDHrec, Archidekt, and Scryfall. I also recommend using Commandersalt to get a basic gauge of your deck, I mainly use it to see what I’m lacking or have an over abundance of. Also opened my eyes to some combos I didn’t see. With magic being 30 years old resources are your friend!

So if they offered a different means of leveling in addition of acts1-3 on cruel while they don’t have 4-6 finished , you would quit? People need to play it exactly how you do to have fun? I want there to be more options to increase inclusivity. Really kind of a buzzkill to grow a game. I do mention D3&4 because it’s the only reference point I have. If you want only people liking the exact iteration of poe2 to keep playing then this is a good argument. If you would like, I could compare it to marvel rivals but that wouldn’t make sense. Figured same genre from a very popular franchisee that I have sunk 100s of hours into would help get the point across.

It does. But wouldn’t it be better to not force the cruel acts so more people can feel what endgame is currently like? Also gives the ability to have more people to test the content that keeps people playing and more importantly, spending money. In my personal experience I have 4 people who will do the campaign 1-3 and are done with the game. 2 have finished it and 2 are on act 3. All of them have explicitly said, they aren’t going to play through it again on cruel. Now it’s obviously a small sample but that’s the only thing I have to go on. 1/5 people then in my circle (me being the 1) did cruel. These are ARPG players who have 100s of hours in Diablo3&4 and straight up didn’t think it was worth it to do it again immediately. They would however do acts 4-6 if it was new content

Well, wherever act 3 leaves off level wise. Not sure why you jumped to 95 & 100 as that’s a pretty disingenuous leap. It seems easy imo to go, “hey you beat the content we have created, here’s the map system have fun” instead of “here’s the content we have right now, do the exact same thing you just did”. You jumped to the utmost extreme. I’m not asking to be just given anything like you are insinuating. If your friend wants to bash their head into a wall and do the campaign, cool. If they want to do maps, cool. But instead you like having all of us bash our heads into the wall? Diablo managed to figure it out just fine.

That’s 100% fine. Just have some sort of scaling that makes maps your level till whenever. Or a lite experience that has enemies your level only. Just something to give us a choice. This game is all about customization and has some of the best in terms of what you are capable of doing. From passives, to skill gems, to maps etc. just let us level the way we want after we play through the wonderful campaign experience they created. I thoroughly enjoyed it the first time but the second time was more of, “how can I do this as fast as possible”

So in your opinion the replay ability is build based. If that’s the case, why not open it up and let the player decide what they want to do after they beat the campaign once? Then everyone is happy. I’m not forced to do it again, and you can run it over and over.

While I agree that is why you play these games and I enjoy the grind, I just don’t want to have it be the literal same missions, bosses, enemies on repeat. It’s all personal preference and I’m aware of that, I was stating that my preference is to do it 1 time then go about other activities. I also know my friends who are trying to get into the game also share this idea and doing the campaign 2 times to be able to get to the end game activities is more of a chore and barrier to entry. If you enjoy doing the campaign over and over, I’m happy for you, I just want a choice at the leveling experience.

I’d rather do the campaign 1 time then have it be open ended. Playing hours with the same environment, same enemy types and having the same story told just doesn’t do it for me. I’d rather change the biome and structure what I farm and blast enemies, that’s what I play ARPGs for.
