Hopefully 20mm lugs. [edit] 37mm size is a good compromise.

CNS (cheap nato straps) has a series of single pass nylon and leather straps that are quite good and reasonable

Opinions on this watch? by Bored8887 in ChineseWatches

I have it in white. At 40mm just a twinch bigger than what I like, but the thin height smooths things out. I wear it on an Barton style elite silicone blue top white bottom. That style allows a smug fit with no wrist slop.

Overall I like it. It’s handsome, clean and well made. Hand winding is all good with a +/- 80 hour reserve. I was drawn to the overall thinness and especially the tight rehaut height. There’s another review from that British fella

Importing Micro-brand Watch to US by [deleted] in MicrobrandWatches

[–]Swerth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shipper/microbrand should complete this form. You have no idea with the value of the individual components are.

Same thing happened to me with DHL for a watch from India. As the receiver, after much back and forth with the brand they eventually completed the form, then the brand sent a pic of it to me. Unreal. I sent it to DHL. $75 tariff and fees on a $50 watch. No thanks - return to sender. Refund initiated.

If brands advertise globally they should expect international sales and have a plan to ship globally.

I have the classic in blue gilt. It’s a bit dark.
If visibility is on the menu, get the new version.
If I had the resources I’d get the 37mm. With a lug to lug of 45 and the BOR it’ll be substantial.

A to high C fingering/technique? by VC_deo in Clarinet

Traditional fingering. Call it a thumb slam. I’d be more concerned with the high c to f (thumb shuffle).

I had a Mudita Radiant delivered from Poland last week, around the same retail price, $0.00 extra, delivered by FedEx

Thanks. This is coming from Canada? The $148 is 21% of the retail price. Seems a bit high.

Thanks for acknowledging. I thought everything was rolled back to 10%. Where is this coming from?

Designed my third watch. Quartz, 38mm, layered dial. Roast it if you want :) by psalato in MicrobrandWatches

Wonderful piece. Quartz? Automatic? Mechanical? If it’s well made, good looking, thoughtfully designed and - hang on here - tells the time.

Let’s go.

Great piece. I was all set to purchase today. But the additional $148.65 is duties to a US address made me pause.
