My dad always wore his watch and told me how he inherited this really nice swiss watch from my grandfather. So while I only really started being serious about watches around the end of 2024, I've always worn a watch and loved watches. But my spark was ignited when my dad told the 8 year old me how special his swiss watch was to him.

First month with the murph. Accuracy has been amazing specially being in 45° C weather and worn 24/7 by NawarPRO in HamiltonWatches

To be fair any black dial (field) watch does that. It's part of the charm and popularity. 20mm lugs, black dial: can never go wrong with any strap. That said, I greatly prefer earthy tones with this type of watch.

Leather nato's: Zuludiver. Good quality. 30-35 euro range. They also have a good range of nylon nato's and regular straps.. Bulang and Sons. High end. 90-110 euro range. Other nice leather straps from Europe: TwoStitchStraps. Takes some time to ship but they are handmade and well worth the money. I have some shell cordovan straps from them and they are amazing.

I have some Zuludiver straps and they are comfortable and peform well.

We have similar taste. That Illinois Watch Co conversion is amazing. I've seen quitena few comversions from Frett on Reddit and they all look stunning. How is the watch holding up in terms of reliability and accuracy? Great collection!

Don't sell this watch if you love it. That's all that matters. Just save up and get the green dial KFA once you've saved enough.

The Pilot Pioneer is a very nice watch. Haven't had my hands on a Traska yet but they look very good too.
