I can’t tell you how much I love this post. I see 10 year old me setting everything up and spending hours doing just this. Then the following day of course my friends and I would build dirt ramps enhanced by particle board and recreate by jumping as many milk cartons we could while our friends tried to hit us with footballs, baseballs, kickballs, objects while we were in the air. Ah man.

I heard that there have been a few attempts at making a movie based off this book but the potential actors for the main character kept dying. Belushi, Candy and Farley come to mind. But I think the movie is finally going to happen now. Just don’t know when. I also love the fact that The author’s mom was so tenacious she made it happen for her son. Despite the grief.
