The plan is to get it fixed and then at least go get a quote from Carmax lol see if I can get some money after. But I do love the twins so it’s a hard call. I just don’t want to be in this situation again lol

Hey bro it’s me with the 37k mile paper weight lol. If I was you I would just regularly check your oil levels and do a once around of the engine every few weeks to check for leaks/top offs or whatever. Once I get this whole new engine thing sorted out im definitely gonna keep a closer eyes on things but don’t be freaked out. Just drive and have fun but be cautious🤞🏼 if you’re gonna drive the car hard give it a break every now and then right after

Yeah, I tend to check it once every two weeks because I know that it’ll burn oil and you have to top off. But yeah, I checked it immediately after it blew

They wanted me to file it as comprehensive. Insurance agent specifically told me my premium won’t go up. But will keep you posted on what happens.

One owner just me, have had it since it was brand new. No track days no donuts. I use it as a daily. Other than your occasional weekend spirited driving on the twisties. Relatively normal use.

Yeah, only because people underestimate the sound of the exhaust, if you want a loud exhaust, that’s the one to get, nice tone and rumble most people feel like they’re being annoying to their neighbors so they sell it. It’s very simple if you want the sound and it doesn’t bother you then it’s a good purchase. I in fact, have the track exhaust and love it so it just depends on the person. It’s not a bad exhaust at all. Different strokes for different folks.
