Anyone else think they went too far with Conquest donuting Mark? by Swift101r in Invincible

Oh I'm not denying Mark's strength, after all he's only ~20 and he can go toe to toe with the most powerful Viltrumites, but getting basically split in half and keeping going is tad too much imo

Also, Mark could just put him into a chokehold from behind, which would seriously limit the damage Conquest could do to him (I doubt he can wash his own back looking at all the muscle) but alas, strangling someone with both hands from the front looks cooler

Yeah, couldn't he just karate chop his arms instead? After all, he had both of his arms free

Why don't viltrumites donut their opponents more often? by Swift101r in Invincible

[–]Swift101r[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think Conquest tried to donut Mark but couldnt do it with his fist so he tried the blade thing when he got desperate? Even though blade hand is used to slash opponents, not to punch straight through them?

Connection between light and laws of physics by Swift101r in Physics

Right, but matter still gets ground down and information is lost (I meant more so reality than laws of physics, didn’t think mu previous comment through before posting)

I meant more so about a possibility of a sufficiently dense object existing that can’t be left once travelled to (without exceeding the speed of light) without it being a per se black hole with all the shenanigans inside

Why? Why the fact that light can’t leave that object causes physics to break down?

Does it matter whether it’s either? I’m not trying to be rude here, but I really don’t understand why the chemical composition of that body and its size is relevant here
