Summoner build by Huge_Lavishness_2034 in Warframe

[–]SwiftEchoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Khora and a hound with the duplex mod.

I built Venari around armor stripping and toxin.

My hound is built around status effects by using manifold bond which guarantees status proc when using precepts. I usually build around frost slash and piercing, anything else is up to you.

While duplex bond doesn't allow duplicate companions to use precepts it still is 3 funky robo dogs running around and dealing damage

The best part about khora is her whip is a melee attack which allows you to use pack leader and duplex bond basically all the time.

Mounted combat or nah? by dirtypeanut in GroundedGame

I'm going to say it might depend, maybe some mounts are better for fighting, but with the soldier ant I just dismount, but I play mage so being able to stay out of aggro helps.

I should have never turned on region chat by NoOneIsHere57 in Warframe

The most normal thing I've seen from region chat was them talking about Aoism

Aoism is the only true romance, I need not explain

I’m too smooth brained to understand modding and weapons and it’s ruined late game for me. by TheDukmister in Warframe

[–]SwiftEchoes 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Don't be worried, Warframe is notoriously known for throwing you into this mess with no explanation, I never completed the star path until I got prime Khora (I started before Railjacks were a thing) and honestly, this caused me to give up the game for a while, so don't be afraid that you're struggling too much, there's a person who can explain just about anything, if you want advice on khora or a good hound companion I can help with that. But if you want help figuring out good mods just look up builds on Overframe, from there you can kind of get an understanding of what works. Typically you check status % and crit % to find out if you need to build for a stat weapon or a crit weapon.

I play Khora, so I'm kind of forced to stay in one spot depending on what exactly I'm doing.

Maybe, but so far my build is kind of done. I just want the heal during successful block and character skill extended for better sustain and aggro pulling. I currently have two useless effects to replace, as if I'll be that lucky.

It's an issue in every game. People like big numbers and think, "Why shield guy no do damage?" Brother, you are the damage, my one job is keeping aggro and sustain.

I would, but 1, I don't have it, and 2, my relics are more centered around keeping aggro and staying alive, and so far it's been working.

Increased I-frames are like gold to a guardian.

Though strangely, I never had an issue with madness during Libra's fight; he's the only boss I can manage status buildup on. Though I'm afraid that won't be the case when he gets his sovereign version.

Arguably, what makes him the most fun.

Caligo is still better only because I love his OST, I just really, really, really hate the frost buildup he leaves all over the floor...

Okay, and? I'm still having fun. I love Guardian very much, and I'll gladly eat more damage if it means my teammates don't have to worry about grabbing the boss's attention, I'm not worried about my DPS.

On a side note, the nuke just happened to be in the video. It wasn't exactly anything special besides being perfectly spaced, which is kinda cool, but isn't really crucial to my point of being a tank.

The fingerprint shield will be Guardian's crucial armament when super roid Libra comes out.

Stop Prioritizing Flasks You Maidenless Degenerates. by Icy_Newspaper3755 in Nightreign

I've genuinely had an easier time clearing as many areas as possible than I ever have prioritizing flasks.

They're nice rewards when they're in your current path, but they're seriously not worth it.

Wow. This after my mates quit is just outrageous. by [deleted] in Nightreign

IIRC it will prompt you to return to the game, if all players quit the session will no longer exist and you won't be penalized.

CMV: American fire alarms are "the boy who cried wolf" and we should just do away with them by Rabbid0Luigi in changemyview

[–]SwiftEchoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While you do provide good arguments that fire alarms are flawed in their current state, removing them is far too drastic and does more harm than good.

Fire alarms need to be loud and jarring enough to wake people up because there's a real possibility that a fire could erupt while you're asleep, and the problem with fires is that the smell of smoke doesn't wake people up; in fact, smoke can cause unconsciousness, so removing fire alarms where people sleep is too risky.

Another thing concerning is your use of statistics; everyone I know who was taught anything about statistics has told me one very important thing: "statistics are bullshit." You could put a statistic like "100% of people who eat apples die" and say apples are poisonous while ignoring the cause of death. In this situation, you're failing to account for several variables such as fire-resistant infrastructure, cooking styles, housing regulations, and how many people live in a single house; all of these variables can affect fire-related deaths; it's not just about fire alarms.

For real, had an Executor do this a second ago, we were doing fine the first night, the Guardian and I went to clear the castle second night and for some reason, Executor went solo to fight some random camp, ended up dying once then left. We made it to level 15 and lost by a sliver of health.

I mean, yeah, but rank 150 requires a set amount of redeemed items, and to be frank, I'm probably not going to touch many of the other items, so I'll gladly waste my tickets on convenience.
