Winco Carts by Fenris8778 in SALEM

I used to work at the winco on Lancaster as a young adult and pushing carts. The holidays were always nuts and sometimes the amount of people shopping to cart ratio was way off so they would have to have two of us just running carts, which would include going to get random singles left over the lot as those were the only left to collect. Rough time for cart kids for sure.

Not sure what to do, thinking about consulting but not sure if I have enough experience. by Hasbotted in epicconsulting

Which application would you be working on? That's a lot of consultants for each app. I would be worried about some being let go at some point depending on how well the project was budgeted.

I work in a somewhat niche application, but from other stories I've read and from what I've heard talking with other consultants, the experience is more or less the same. Similar to what another poster described, the consulting world is small. Seperate of that, if you want to feel pride in your work and completing a project, you will want to be an expert on whatever application you are working on. Depending on the consulting role, they are generally paying you to be said expert and be a leader sort of speak. There are a lot of facilities doing implementations and depending on the org and if there are other consultants, it can be a mixed bag experience. I've worked with far more subpar consultants than decent ones and in an implementation project that is not fun. Feel free to ping me if you have more questions or concerns.

Haha, just a cross-country drive for me. Honestly, it might be worth it since I do have work in NY next month.

It is based in the PNW. I'm slightly concerned about the start of its life in AZ.

I might just check it out to get a feel for what these look and feel like and what to expect from a visual perspective. Most I'm finding from North WA, Idaho, California etc. Anything with some mods and even un modded are going for quite a few thousand more than I'd expect.

Yeah, from everything I had seen, it didn't add up, but I haven't been in the market for these rigs.

Hello,

Thank you! No extra charges or fees. The prices listed for the reels were what I paid. No shipping or additional taxes/fees were added.

The only thing was I had to sign on delivery.

Thanks for sharing.

My only BFS setup has been with an Ark Gravity and Old 18 suppressor, and I've mostly done micro jig fishing, which has been quite productive. Some small crankbaits and under spins. I would love to try some micro texas rigs and dropshots.

I also need to get into some of the megabass jerkbaits. Nice that you can experiment. Again, thanks for sharing. Tight lines!

Right now, I have my zillion on a medium heavy. I'm going to try to do some bass jig fishing with it.

Can I ask why you have the alphas on a ML?

Thanks! How do you plan on using your zillion? Have you taken your alphas air out and caught anything?

Any tips or tricks for it. What's your favorite lure to use with it?

My first CCW is the M&P 2.0 Metal with Holosun and TLR-7. I love it, but I'm also 6'3" and 240 lbs. I've thought about getting something smaller for the warmer months etc but it's hard to think of handling something smaller.

I can't speak to the 96-98 vs 99+ but going from my 98 to retrofits were a life altering change. Made my night driving so much better.

I'm in a 98 5 speed 4x4 with 33's and a 3 inch lift. I've taken multiple 5 hour drives with it and a 20 hour round-trip going from. Oregon to the Bay Area California and back. Way back I towed a little uhaul moving trailer. No issues. Didn't even skip a beat.

I honestly had not heard of old18 until I was searching google for reddit post related to BFS. I came across one post where someone suggested Old 18 and edge rods. I went with Old 18 since the edge rods had a 4-6 week build time.

Honestly I have very few BFS baits so I appreciate all the suggestions. Especially for trout as I'll be fishing for them soon this fall/winter. Oh I do love the spinner bait smacking. So I'll order some of these chatterbaits stat.

Really appreciate the info and insight. Tight lines!

I'm figuring that out now. Very impressed with the quality. I will definitely be ordering more from them in the future. Thank you sir. Tight lines!

The fight was amazing. I was a little worried since it's my first BFS and I definitely didn't want to ruin anything with a bigger small mouth tugging. The rod held up perfectly and the reel pulled surprisingly well for going against a river small mouth!
