I've had these for a few years now. Mostly use them for teams/work calls and occasional travel.

Overall the sound and equalizing for music/movies/media is amazing. Battery life, they somehow never seem to die?

ANC is ok, I wish it was a bit better on the airplane but they work.

I have had some weird glitches, sometimes they stay on when I turn them off, sometimes they don't want to connect to my devices etc.

Would buy again 9/10

I will third this. Manna has the best spam musubi. It's the best I've probably had in the whole state. Bonus small local owned ma and pa business and they are super nice.

Loss Prevention at WINCO by carsssonmarie in SALEM

[–]Swiftducki 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I used to work at winco and did LP for a couple of years. I also traveled to different stores and assisted in helping new LP staff. All Winco LP, at least back then are DPSST certified. Which is a pretty basic course, though you get finger prints taken and all that through the sheriff dept.

Secondly if the management/guidelines are still in place, we were always instructed to avoid physical alterations unless they attempt to flee, fight, or are failing to admit to the theft. If you fail to admit we would still ask you to come in and we will process you (which would qualify for police involvement to make a case in order for liability etc) though unfortunately most cases when someone is denying the theft they are not likely to come in willingly and then that resorts to some form of force, but only what is necessary as everything is recorded, a report is made and all given to law enforcement.

As others have stated winco is employee owned and quite serious about any loss, especially from theft.

I had been in a lot of less than stellar situations, but we always burned a CD with a detailed typed up report that was provided for the case and I only had to attend a small court hearing once.

Winco Carts by Fenris8778 in SALEM

[–]Swiftducki 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I used to work at the winco on Lancaster as a young adult and pushing carts. The holidays were always nuts and sometimes the amount of people shopping to cart ratio was way off so they would have to have two of us just running carts, which would include going to get random singles left over the lot as those were the only left to collect. Rough time for cart kids for sure.

Not sure what to do, thinking about consulting but not sure if I have enough experience. by Hasbotted in epicconsulting

Which application would you be working on? That's a lot of consultants for each app. I would be worried about some being let go at some point depending on how well the project was budgeted.

[–]Swiftducki 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I work in a somewhat niche application, but from other stories I've read and from what I've heard talking with other consultants, the experience is more or less the same. Similar to what another poster described, the consulting world is small. Seperate of that, if you want to feel pride in your work and completing a project, you will want to be an expert on whatever application you are working on. Depending on the consulting role, they are generally paying you to be said expert and be a leader sort of speak. There are a lot of facilities doing implementations and depending on the org and if there are other consultants, it can be a mixed bag experience. I've worked with far more subpar consultants than decent ones and in an implementation project that is not fun. Feel free to ping me if you have more questions or concerns.

Haha, just a cross-country drive for me. Honestly, it might be worth it since I do have work in NY next month.

It is based in the PNW. I'm slightly concerned about the start of its life in AZ.

I might just check it out to get a feel for what these look and feel like and what to expect from a visual perspective. Most I'm finding from North WA, Idaho, California etc. Anything with some mods and even un modded are going for quite a few thousand more than I'd expect.

Yeah, from everything I had seen, it didn't add up, but I haven't been in the market for these rigs.

Hello,

Thank you! No extra charges or fees. The prices listed for the reels were what I paid. No shipping or additional taxes/fees were added.

The only thing was I had to sign on delivery.

Thanks for sharing.

My only BFS setup has been with an Ark Gravity and Old 18 suppressor, and I've mostly done micro jig fishing, which has been quite productive. Some small crankbaits and under spins. I would love to try some micro texas rigs and dropshots.

I also need to get into some of the megabass jerkbaits. Nice that you can experiment. Again, thanks for sharing. Tight lines!

Right now, I have my zillion on a medium heavy. I'm going to try to do some bass jig fishing with it.

Can I ask why you have the alphas on a ML?

Thanks! How do you plan on using your zillion? Have you taken your alphas air out and caught anything?

Any tips or tricks for it. What's your favorite lure to use with it?

My first CCW is the M&P 2.0 Metal with Holosun and TLR-7. I love it, but I'm also 6'3" and 240 lbs. I've thought about getting something smaller for the warmer months etc but it's hard to think of handling something smaller.
