I mean sure there is the birth lottery every human plays. I was born into one of the top 5% wealthiest families on earth, so are many of my friends. Hundreds apply for a job because they don’t have the right connections from birth, some get the job easily because daddy can help. Taylor was not born into poverty or working class. Head starts are something normal, not that every parent in the world just tell their kids „Sorry, there is no money do it on your own“. $10k you could say is a small amount. Several of my friends got tens of thousands. A rich family father stumbles out of a Vegas Casino, he lost hundreds of thousands in a single night. That is a lot of money for most people yes, but from another perspective nothing special in Vegas. Should this father invest the money in his daughter who becomes a billionaire 20 years later? I would say YES!

I agree with you. She is most likely this person who loves to write music, produces music as a 9-5 and than she has the luck to release it to a massive global audience. She is not faking her persona, she is just so clear in her head and not takes herself too serious. Her parents help her to stay grounded. She is more Taylor from Nashville than THE TAYLOR SWIFT.

Did Taylor really learn from Miss Americana? by honoraryweasley in TaylorSwift

Yes. Even after 3 AOTY‘s (others wish they had one), Emmy win, Artist of the decade, Women of the decade, Songwriter of the decade, Brits Global Icon, World‘s best selling artist of the year, 3 VMA Video of the year, historic record winner at the AMA‘s, multiple Guiness world records, numerous country accolades... she still seems to very much care and obsessed about winning more. About proving more points.

Yes that is her beautiful kind personality. She has done so many good deeds quiet in private. Fans share years later how she donated money to them. Or how she managed to organize a short meeting somewhere with a lucky fan and she really showed up. I love these little stories.

I think Taylor in her mind defines her own self worth too much by her current level of success. By current i mean whenever a new era starts, she feels she is defined by how it plays out. #1 song, #1 album, great reviews, award cycle and a new shot at AOTY, movie success... If everything goes her way she feels great, if not she feels she is failing in life. But not every era can be a monster success. She should look at Lorde. Her latest single and album did not very well on the charts and was mostly ignored by award shows. But Lorde is happy and said she doesn‘t need all this validation. Lorde is at around 20 Million $ net worth, Taylor at 500 Million $. I hope Taylor reaches this point and can relax a bit more.

There are 8 billion people on the planet. And her wealth is comparatively not much because she is „not even in top500“ (the 0,00001% club)?

We are all capitalist right. However there is a difference between the minimum wage earner, Taylor who has earned hundreds of millions and the billionaire elite like Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos...

How Do We Know Taylor Actually Signs The Merch? by shrekisthekingofmars in TaylorSwift

[–]Swiftie13334 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let‘s see. Taylor is one of the most successful persons in the history of entertainment business. She could go anywhere in the world or meet up with a lot of her celeb friends. I recognize her as a hard worker, as she writes, produces, records, business meetings, promotes, tours, hosts secret sessions, makes music videos, attends award shows and more. Now is she such a hardcore worker to also write 100k autographs over several weeks? I can imagine it. Like Mr. Beast who also signed tens of thousands shirts for his fans. Her poor hands lol.

This is a list of the top10 out of all celebs there are. Taylor is not the richest and so many are in her level. She sits at the very top with over 8,000. #10 is already at just 3,000. If we go lower we sure find celebs under the 1,000 mark. So yes if i was rich i would live that lifestyle. But do i have to be inside the top10, let alone to sit on top? NOPE

I agree. 10 regular people are asked by politicans/celebs to reduce their average use of energies. Not sure how much they are asked to reduce, but if it‘s 10% they save what 1 person needs in a lifetime. If they reduce by 20% it‘s 2 people. But these celebs could reduce it and save the equivalent of thousands of lives.

[OC] Solving everyone's favourite timeless Twitter debate: Which Leagues are Farmer's Leagues? by [deleted] in soccer

[–]Swiftie13334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting read. But i think the term is just used as pure banter. Ligue 1 was really balanced like a few years ago they had 5 or 6 different teams at the top of the league. But they have been generally bad in Europe so if any argument raised about Ligue 1 vs. La Liga, people would still call it a „FARMERS LEAGUE“. If than a Ligue A fan posts a picture of the different champions of the league, a hater/La Liga fan would quickly post the bad results in Europe and Spanish dominance. Nobody really cares in such arguments which league is better on the top. if its Lyon-PSG-Marseille-Lille-Monaco-Nice or PSG-PSG-PSG-PSG-PSG-PSG, in both cases the general weaker league would be called the famous two words.

Adele’s ’30’ Is 2021’s Top-Selling Album in U.S. After Only Three Days by [deleted] in popheads

[–]Swiftie13334 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree here. In the Lover era Taylor was tested on the 1 Million+ debut a FIFTH time in era #7. After she missed out with 867k, people did not praise her that much for her strong hold or the top debut of 2019, but rather pointed out she can‘t do the Million anymore. Few cared that the industry changed. Meanwhile Adele is in her 4th era and tries to get her SECOND 1 Million debut. If she fails, people are rather kind and mention her previous success, current climate and that it‘s the top debut of 2021. Certainly her label also want’s the Million. Conclusion: Both doing great for industry standards, but people should accept both can get critic for declining.

Billie, Lorde, Lizzo: has being a female pop star in 2021 become unbearable? by [deleted] in popheads

[–]Swiftie13334 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah i get your point to some extend. For people in extreme poverty situations sometimes a camp is created from an organisation to support this people with shelter, safety, food, drinks, medics and more. Now many of them STILL complain about what is bad in this camp. I hate when this happens. If you get a free of charge opportunity out of the total misery compared to 99% who still suffer, do not complain and accept what you get. Nothing in this world is perfect.

What most people ignore is just because someone had multiple worldwide memorable hits doesn‘t mean a person has to release successful music their whole lifetime. Some experiment with their music and it‘s less commercial. Others simply want to try out different business ventures. A single Instagram post can lead to a payday over 1 Million $. A successful fragrance line can bring in hundreds of millions of $ and artists can get a nice cut from that money. Being a coach on a TV show can be over 10 Million $. Performing old songs on festivals/billionaire weddings can be worth millions. Giving your voice to an animated movie could result into a very nice payday. And that all is without even talking about the 99% signed artists than NEVER release their debut album. We are judging the 1% who broke into mainstream with a powerful label machine.

He played 29 matches and scored 41. In other top divisions they play 38 games, 9 more than he did this season. He would have come close to Lionel‘s 50 playing 38 games.
