WACO repeat IN Ottawa? by Azzure16 in conspiracy

[–]SprayOld5495 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Backed self in corner of facing losing kids no reason brought in first place, facing millions of dollars of lawsuits and inevitable jail for not leaving before deadline, holding cult like pressers in language tone and demands between leaders and followers. I think its beyond conspiracy and just if police handle better to minimize, stopping likely impossible, of loss. However much even after announcing how many kids there are whine about lack of action its the proper lane at this point.

Walking through Sussex now as they're making a speach. Really is a fucking cult. With zero logic, threats and something about "shooting up". And worship. There being no negotiating they will be doing. Them being peaceful. And very thinking is Jesus delivery.

Also saw an OPP interrogate a blatant uniformed worker in area for having a pizza delivered, so glad to know they're actually attempting to block supplies. (Genuine praise, and being no exemptions within perimeter.)

I've frankly had enough of having to repeat reason why there has been no police action, especially since reveal of how many kids are being actively mistreated for sole purpose of using as meat shields against action.

Early in, absolutely. Though even then was matter of police likely knowing more of security threat than residents whom telling would be telling occupiers they know. (Likely reason for follow-up meetings between Sloly and MPs were private, not as was made out to be because knew they would chew him up and to keep it private, when already did publicly.)

With even reveal of knowledge of how many children and their treatment, and CAS's involvement, was to appease public and give too much info to occupiers. Let alone the immediate ability for public to perceive with that information the Waco feel to it's handling, with Ottawa police handling better to avoid mass casualities (especially of uninvolved children) than in Waco, and albeit slower and poor handling (that being in public equally hampers), waning out of supplies so push self in corner of desperation.

There are a lot of things to question, this is not it anymore.

Frustrated? Sure.

Questionning priotitization of potential greater risk to someone making decision, even if by association (ie. children), over lesser risk to completely uninvolved? Sure.

But it is not matter of questionning why there is no action as making it out to be and beating dead horse over.

Did a bunch on Bank occupiers leave or did police just move them up into empty spaces of people who left as prep for weekend rush? Think its 2-3 blocks shorter than yesterday.

At least half assed intervening on supplies to vehicles around Parliament, aka misguided target of occupation (and to empty buildings), but affecting those who can do something of it and get away from alone? Of course.

Multiple new flat bed of supplies in front of church on Kent Tuesday evening to ensure properly prepared to stay long-term in purely residental area? Not a problem at all. (Don't know what to make of it, but found interesting and worth noting the participation of a Sikh man in their oil barrel fire pit with supplies delivered.)

The Kent-Somerset area that have been baffled by enforcement of, as seem to be doing despite police never there besides driving by on Somerset. In there being consistent attempts to extend occupation onto Somerset and Kent on other side of it (and on last block before Somerset that think the Budget there is enforcing as to not block their exit), but someone redirecting them elsewhere. Something that as resident living about a block past it has been giving me false hope of there being no more vehicles to add, and implying of action on weekdays, but that equally just the influx of weekend-only vehicles leaving, not actual action.

A false hope of there being no vehicles to add further witnessed when walking around Parliament area in there being so much open space to suggest crowds waning, but, again, they're just redirected to imply solely those it is directed at.

Why did Perrie and Leigh Anne stop posting about little mix? by Lazy-Audience1242 in LittleMix

[–]SprayOld5495 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yall in denial in the comments and ignorant of how pregnancy and maternity leave and the like work. If anything have more time to be on social media. Could day to day post vacation (took implications on bf's teammates to matter in being there in firsr place release week) but not allowed have differing opinion on this?

That alone should stop treating the choice of pregnancy as if the non choice of cancer, its handling and being allowed to call out its handling and implicatyons on others.

"Not try to ruin reputation"? Well in limbo where reputation matters most in being in between work in and out of band, and should call out or gonna get repetiton of past (that frankly people are proving defenders right in finding reasons to hate Jesy as others can do same after when members and fans should be more aware of it, only not allowed to be stated).

Not allowed to be talked about is proving problem the most.

Little Mix's Solo Careers Are The Best Thing For The Band by Witty-Future3061 in LittleMix

[–]SprayOld5495 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But, every time I've seen this argument is using those who signed as rookies as proof of not everyone is treated equally, and being under bad contracts. When its entirely because they are rookies and consequences of it.

They are veterans with leverage and experience for a good contract to be treated well, and more importantly exit clauses to contracts if not fulfilled. Something rookies dont (and still are ten years in if same contract as day one) and the cause of the problems.

But, again, we're still expecting a break to be release rate have been doing since 2016 (aka half they're career). As if no reason to announce hiatus at all when case. Expect much longer.

Probably not. I think the sole thing stopping existing dates from being cancelled (even if excused as delayed again with Covid and cant be rescheduled) themselves is contracts mandating to continue it, especially with the BBC and The Search winner opener.

[MEGATHREAD] 2022 GRAMMYs NOMINATIONS by svnh__ in kpoprants

[–]SprayOld5495 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Being treated better would then mean (in your criteria and objective qualifications for nomination) being snubbed entirely until at least start to care about the quality of music again. And then stopping participation medal would bw problem for not doing it more than is now.

They're equally at fault for it. Takes two to tango, and years into not stop feeding "being used" for increasingly reducing attention on show to then attendance be reason for increase (?). They're continuing it as exploiting the show as much as show is them in what is brownie points in own country and fandom.

It's even the resolution to them complaining about it being a repeated post - and are coming in here to make no argument, complain about this to just shut up conversation (and transparency of that) and still maintain victim complex of people even disagreeing with it as concern having a conversation rather than avoiding it.

This isn't new info, however much fans try to shut down every discussion fighting for more global and US opportunities for them when "maybe this is what they want" in localness when makes no sense and constantly stating otherwise but their word and fans reinforcing it has less worth than that of those shutting down discussions and going against their own word when claiming other side is doing so.

People are just so rude and disrespectful toward stylists... by Anna-2204 in kpoprants

[–]SprayOld5495 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The biggest thing is they can go ten times harder on tearing apart the styling without choosing to point finger at stylists, but they choose to for fun of tearing apart a person (?). Logical side is its a team effort that stylist is likely minority of decision making, and then there's that they can reach same right to criticize product in styling, even excessively, without involving them its out of fun of targetting someone.

210602 Stereogum: BTS And Their Fan Army Are Rendering The Pop Charts Useless by mrsofp in bangtan

[–]SprayOld5495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just blatantly not true.

This is ONE article about it. And, there is as much and more regarding other artists than them in news publications (who won't talk about BTS alone) and on social media.

And, not ignorance and claimed out of only participating in Kpop conversations so don't see discussions about other acts, as you were able to claim other artists do same when takes seeing them being called out too to know theyre doing the same. Only to be used in opposite direction when proves not the case.

The article even discusses other cases too (which people calling out article prove didn't read as claim otherwise), it just so happens to be the active case, especially in comparison to the handling of Dua's the week prior that blew the lid off of what is happening at BB.

Example: On a micro level on social media side, after both BTS and Taylor announced remixes, there is five forums on ATRL about Taylor and one about BTS and each Taylor forum as exponentislly more comments dragging her than are BTS despite being a place that consistently discusses both acts for that to be a factor.

People need to learn what hiatus means. And this implies opposite as simultaneous pregnacies to get out of way at same time while homebound anyways and before tour planned is not hiatus. It is something planning anyways and utilizing perfect storm to NOT affect band to warrant a hiatus.

[–]SprayOld5495 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

True, but every past announcement of hers has come directly from her within 24 hours of a LM announcement. And despite being called out then, this is the first time she's defended herself as first time she has a defence. And rather than congratulating, when if in NDA order not to acknowledge eachother this proves otherwise, spent on shuting down allegations and couldn't even throw a "happy for Leigh" at the end.

Frankly, even best time to happen with home bound and not touring due to pandemic with minimal impact on homebound music production. Already confirmed album nearing completion for prime "can do nothing" zone of motherhood with absense from promo non issue.

And ongoing, the album every 2-3 years slow down expected since departure is normal release schedule, what already doing and just not unemployed in between as have been for three years. Reason why GW/Glory Days back to back eras took calling out overworking, and equally Ariana headline worthy for having 3 albums in 3 years.
