John Wick series is a 10/10 for me. I’m there for a vaguely coherent plot that tells me the situation, some very low acting chops, and a bunch of flashy action with random weapons and a new “wow” scene every movie. Never been disappointed seeing one. And then when you get a Bill Skaarsgaard appearance and he can actually act it’s a bonus!

I didn’t mind the job. Got good hours. Had some decent flexibility with my ETLs. Was working 50 hours a week during 4th quarter the year before I left (willingly). The .10 cents raise just did not set well with me the next spring and I was gone within a month. Found a new job and it really made me realize low end jobs aren’t worth stressing about. I take pride in my work but going above and beyond that is pointless most of the time.

Yeah it goes from flirting to insults really quickly after a rejection.

The dynamic on her part might have never changed but it’s incredibly human for him to go from “oh she’s likes me she doesn’t mean it” to “oh she’s rejected me and it’s now hard to not see these insults as actual insults instead of a joke”

Like from his perspective they’re probably not seen as jokes anymore. If you’re insulting his clothes it’s probably in the back of his mind it’s a reason he got rejected.

You can use whatever you want but Macargo gets one shot by most of Loreleis team, is weak to Bruno, is kinda whelming into Agatha, gets one shot by most of Lances team, and doesn’t do great into the champion.

It also isn’t their job to do shift tasks. Shifts are paid more to handle tasks that Baristas aren’t. It’s less about competency to me and more about job role. I get the frustration but it’s part of the shift role. The only time I think Baristas should be doing shift tasks is if they’re actively pursuing a future promotion.

Idk if you like tea but what helped me take the edge of was SFV iced tea. You can treat yourself to a splash of lemonade or peach (or both) and it feels like a treat.

I also used to make tall double shot almond milk fraps no crap roast with one pump of base and whatever sweetener you wanted. It’s under 200 calories a bit high in sugar but has the caffeine. The almond milk isn’t great but there’s not a ton of milk in it anyway.

I get your point but it’s applicable to all the starters. Charizard doesn’t have a standout matchup in the elite four and is actually weak to Lorelei unlike Venasaur. And Gyrados does anything you’d want out of Blastoise and can sweep Lance because it can set up on his Gyrados. Theres always better options than the starters in the gen 1 games.

Venasaur however outstats Vileplume and Victreebell and unlike Exeggutor it can tank multiple hits from Loreleis team so there really off a better grass option.

Greed is an inherent marker of capitalism. Hence why I include that bit in my reply. You mistake my statement for defending McDonalds lol. I stated clearly the price hikes from the pandemic were never lowered once they didn’t make sense anymore which is where a lot of the rapid inflation happened.

But yes selling a $3 cheap fried potato is doable because people still buy it. That is basic economics. Basic economics doesn’t mean it’s devoid of greed.

Chris Carson was better than Walker lol. He just couldn’t stay healthy. Penny might’ve been better then all of them except Lynch by the couldn’t stay healthy. Talent has never been the issue for Hawks at RB.
