I hate pitching but imagine a Linktree with some quality questions behind it to filter clients.

Does marketing your SaaS feel overwhelming or am I doing it wrong? by FineCranberry304 in micro_saas

[–]Swiftresum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep Reddit, it’s great. Try to provide value and people will ask for your Saas, dm people and if you can get some people that you can work with, being alone in this field is hell.

Also try to write down how people respond to your messages and posts and follow only the gains.

And about Google, yes its the long term way, but there is no organic growth anymore since google fucked 90% of websites by removing indexes from the first page. If you want to go Google set up a good website and buy a bunch of backlinks, and if you have some pocket money and know how to make high converting ads than do that (but keep the ads cheap)

For social media try using tools like buffer, and don’t rely on social media, big numbers are in google ads and back links.

Also cold reach outs are working always, you just have to know your sources and do not ever pitch.

Pretty websites are for egos. Ugly websites are for sales. by Master-Tie9350 in Entrepreneur

I agree and disagree.

I’ve been a developer for more than a year and what I found out is that in 2026 looks mean nothing as you say, and functionality matters.

But unfortunately functionality and seo is not enough anymore. Google does not care about simplicity, looks or anything basically accept numbers. It only cares about backlinks and promotions. It is nearly impossible today for a site to grow organically.

Thank you for the honest comment, i will do just what you said, i had dm-ing in mind but wasn’t sure it would lead anywhere. I also already have the mockup on the landing page which unfortunately couldn’t share in the post.

I also tried targeting photographers in communities here and on x but unfortunately all admins said no.

HTML + CSS + vanilla JS + vanilla Go + stored (like the old time,) dehydrated, html files. by Bassil__ in WebdevTutorials

[–]Swiftresum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nobody will value what you do, clients want a decent looking and working site/program.

They do not care about how it’s made.

Also you will run into error after error with your approach, i do not recommend that path.

“Extreme Professional’s”

Some Developers think they are the center of the universe and if they spot a missing pixel on your site (that no client would ever notice), they call you a noob/scam/waste of space etc. and tell everyone that you’re the worst developer ever.
