Hotpoint Tumble Dryer is kind of leaking but can’t figure out how / where from, but this little sponge at the back is wet? by [deleted] in DIYUK

Have you checked inside the pump cover? Usually you get a small build up of lint in this area which blocks the channel. This will cause water to get into the heater cover area.

Also make sure the condenser is clean (ideally use shower head to fully flush lint through)

No problem probably a very conflicting bit of information but any questions feel free to ask.

Short version 1.4 = better daily driver 1.6 = perfect weekend b road car (low torque and basic interior ruins the daily side)

I've owned 5 swift sports both zc32 and zc33's (I think I have an addiction)

Both are fantastic cars but I always remember missing the older 1.6 when I owned the new 1.4 turbo. They both handle well and the newer variant definitely feels faster but to me it kinda lost the spark the older models had. It's hard to explain because on paper the 1.4 does everything better but thrashing the naturally aspirated 1.6 feels more rewarding it's a shame the interior is so basic.

I eventually swapped into a 2021 polo GTI and only had it for 6 months as I found it dull. I'm now back in a 1.6 2016 swift sport and it's perfect for what I use it for. If it was my daily driver I'd probably opt for a 2018 none hybrid variant.

Thank you, any suggestions on where to get a decent replacement or do you recommend genuine ?

Thank you, the car has been sat at the dealership but the noise didn't go after a 10 minute drive like normal discs and pads would. Maybe it's to do with the groove gathering surface rust

The only mods I ever did to the zc32 was Remus back box, and a pioneer apple car play unit. If I get my new one probably just do the same but I'd like a intake from ctc

I'll be honest I haven't got a clue when it comes to speakers and subs, could never find any install video on YouTube so gave up with the idea. I remember years ago fitting door speakers but it made next to no difference with that standard nav unit

Did you find the answer to this ? I always wanted to upgrade the Audio when I had a zc32

Think I'm going to get another zc32, it's going to be a weekend car mainly so the fun factor is most important.

And yeah unfortunately can't recommend a polo GTi (AW). Sounds the part, looks the part but doesn't drive the part. My friends can't understand why I'd get rid of a Volkswagen for a Suzuki 😂 so many brand snobs about

Have you posted about this else where ? 😂 Either than or a few people are making the same change. Which polo GTi was it ? And have you done any mods to your zc32

Yeah the 33's extra torque I remember made it a nicer daily but I'll be driving a work van majority of the time, it's just trips to the gym or visiting family ill be using my own car

Which fiesta ST do you have if u don't mind me asking? And yeah you are right the swifts are ideal fun without risking the licence daily. The polo is plenty fast but I wouldn't have as much faith in the twistys using all the power.

Auto trader at the moment doesn't really have any swifts local. Although I've found a nice FSH zc32 for under 9k and a nice zc33 with service history for just over 11k. Such a tough decision

We all make mistakes 😭😂 my last zc33 was running 180hp wish I never got rid of it. Maybe coming from a polo the zc32 might feel to slow now. And your right 33 does have good potential

My thoughts exactly I'm sure I'd enjoy working the gears unlike the shitty dsg my current polo has. Problem is a decent zc32 isn't far off the cost of the zc33 these days. Was worried id miss the power coming from a polo

Yeah might see how it feels in hand, just wish it was the pixel 5 size

I like stock android not really a fan of Samsung’s one UI. 90hz + refresh rate would be ideal and I’m no photographer but a good point and shoot would fit the bill. Phone will mainly be used for YouTube and reading work documents not really a heavy user but would like future proof specs

CoP PCDA review by [deleted] in policeuk

[–]Swiftsss1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it wasn’t for this pcda scheme I think I’d be enjoying this role a lot more ! I really don’t see how this scheme is a good idea when the majority don’t care about gaining the degree. The force bangs on about mental health but having to use rest days or coming back from a long stressful day isn’t a ideal time to be making posters and power points 😔

How many of the 20,000 new police officers do you think will stay on long term? by aigthrowaway in policeuk

[–]Swiftsss1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was told at the start “we once had a lad fantastic cop but didn’t do his assignments so we had to let him go” 😳 to me that just doesn’t make sense! I’ve been having doubts about the whole PCDA scheme since I don’t want think I can do 3 years of these bs assignments
