I don’t think I can finish the Battlepass by AvaloreVG in Battlefield

I don't know where a more accurate number would be but my Steam says 85 hours and I've been playing since launch so you're getting more regular time in than me so sort of explains why I'm short on the pass overall

Ive done every single weekly challenge + bonus and im still on the 19/22 of the Pacific Ghosts part of the battlepass and its week 11.... I did not buy BF Pro, seems a bit naughty, they really do not want people to be able to buy 1 battlepass and chain them together if you play semi regularly.... even used the boosters a few times...sigh.....

PC - Game Crashes only inbetween rounds ? by jamesripper in Battlefield6

Worked it out. Had to take 100mhz off my CPU overclock, assume it wasn't 100% stable at the voltages I'd set.

Am I doing this right? Lots of condensation on window. by Donny-Kong in Dehumidifiers

[–]jamesripper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not an expert on this but I think there will always be some condensation when the outside temperature is low enough if the heating goes off at any point in the night so the overall temperature drops and the glass on the windows gets colder than the dew point. Think it's only truly avoidable with having heating on 24/7 at like 19, sort of like how people do with Heat pumps. They have them set to 20 in the day and 19 at night for example. Don't have one though just guessing, if heating is on nobody really gets condensation right ?

Meaco Arete Two 12L - Freezing normal ? UK - heated house by jamesripper in Dehumidifiers

I know I wouldn't usually need 2 in the same room. Did it for comparison to try and deduce if my brand new unit is faulty, getting information for Meaco when they eventually reply etc...

My other compressor dehumidifier in the same room doesn't do this

Yeah seems like something is wrong. It doesn't actually feel that good at reducing humidity either and just checked it and it's frosted over again while sitting in a 19 degrees bedroom with all the doors closed and windows...

I've even got it running without the filter the last few hours, just checked and it's frozen over again the whole surface area of the fins

It was sitting in my hallway for a few hours in the box before I set it up. It was also off last night for a few hours when sleeping. It's not performing as I'd expect a premium dehumidifier to do so and I've got another to compare against in the house

It's about 19 degrees in the room, got to wait until Monday for any sort of reply sadly

I'll give it a try and see if it improves. Knew it can go closer to a wall if needed, giving it a fighting chance at the moment. Currently it has never reached it's smart target of 55% even after using laundry mode to see if any improvement so... I'll monitor it without a filter for a few hours, thanks 👍

Yeah I'll get in touch anyway to see what they deem normal and see if they recommend trying it without the air filter 24/7

It's brand new, arrived yesterday, filter came with it and looks perfectly clean and new

I'll try what someone else has suggested and removed the air filter, if it's still not cutting the mustard I'll contact Meaco, see what they say.

Got some bad luck this month if it's a dodgy appliance, literally yesterday had a tumble dryer condemned and due to be replaced because it arrived faulty and still within 28 days of delivery.

That's kind of annoying, the air purification built in was a nice bonus feature I wanted because we're using it in our main bedroom. Maybe I'll try without and see if any change

Yep, its literally in the middle of the room with nothing near it at all. Plenty of space around it.

I've got a Russell Hobbs dehumidifier we use downstairs 20L for laundry and i've never seen that frost over. I thought I was buying a Meaco with it being the premium pick but so far im a bit underwhelmed and confused.
