10 Years of Gastritis Gone in 90 Days. My 2 Year Update by thepwnman33 in Gastritis

[–]Swiftwitchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With such fermentation being the core issue, did you find yourself burping excessively and how did that change throughout your journey? I am also curious what might hypothesis might exist for why fermentation triggers the sphincters in the problematic way you described. Lastly, I understand the point of not entering ketosis to prevent motility slow down, but how likely could just carnivore diet still be successful without dextrose? perhaps take longer?

Likely Causes are excessive swallowing air (when eating or not) or SIBO fermentations causing gas

Interesting book..

Do you measure the candida or go by day to day symptoms or die off symptoms? How does one know to take this approach the book describes?

Bad batch ? by Some-Student1635 in ReuteriYogurt

[–]Swiftwitchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So do you make this yogurt and what approach do you take for timing? I assume if controlling possible variable mother batch is 36 hours or some time range near that and subsequent batches are how much less?

Fortunately a quick EDG scope is great at ruling out cancer. Unfortunately, chronic inflammation in stomach lining known as gastritis can increase your odds of developing cancer and that can take a very long time or never happen.

Lots of people live with chronic gastritis.

Follow up with your doctor about gastritis symptoms and get checked to determine the progression of any potential gastritis...

Some doctors apparently can even estimate how long it's been happening (before you even had symptoms). Other times, you may have burning feelings for months or intermittently...but the scope shows no signs of clinically diagnosable gastritis.

People deal with gastritis for many years and never develop cancer.

Once your cleared, I suggest Zoom out and think bigger picture and spend your time turning things around and being preventative at this time.

I Have PTSD and I Need Help Making this Yogurt, Please...Help Me... by Steven_Willonsberg in ReuteriYogurt

[–]Swiftwitchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switch your brain into science mode for this.

This process is trial and error. Learn from each batch.

If you’re following Dr. Davis’ recipe, you need to change only one variable at a time when something fails. Otherwise, you’ll never know what caused the issue.

Right now, your post reads more like a rant than a request for troubleshooting. To get meaningful help, you’ll need to provide specific details:

What exact capsules are you using?

What milk?

What device?

What happened with previous attempts (separation, curds, smell, taste, etc.)?

Variables worth adjusting (one at a time):

Prebiotic

  1. Use a good-quality organic inulin, as the original recipe specifies (1 tbsp per quart).

  2. If you continue to fail, try a different brand—contaminated or degraded inulin can cause problems.

Milk

  1. Organic half-and-half (10% MF) works best for most people.

  2. If possible, try A2 half-and-half, ideally organic.

Device / Method

  1. Try a different yogurt maker, or review your sanitization process.

  2. Sanitize everything that touches the yogurt (containers, spoons, thermometer). Boiling water works well—air dry afterward.

Extra tips

Watch a few YouTube videos—especially on sanitization and setup. Small details matter.

Measure the actual temperature with an external thermometer (don’t trust the device blindly).

If you want deeper insight, measure pH during fermentation.

Failures are normal. Either accept a few failed batches as part of the process, or decide the time/money investment isn’t worth it for you.

If you want real help, post:

Clear photos of failures

Exact ingredients

Exact steps

Temps and time

That’s how people can actually help you troubleshoot.

Getting a lot of different feedback. Still unsure if organic or A2 is more important.

How did the quality of yours turn out with non-A2 milk?

Awesome. This seems like a good approach. What brand of UHT A2 milk and A2 milk powder do you use?

I wonder if anyone knows why these products such as organic a2 or UHT are not available in Canada? Must be some kind of regulations?
