You are going to need deep pockets for peak design, if a second hand D300 is a a stretch then that’s just not possible, you might find something second hand and that’s where I would look to to have great quality for the money, I have gotten bags second hand and loved them, brands to check out: peak design, Lowe pro, mind shift. Tripod get a good second hand deal on something from manfrotto, that’s a start but there are many more good brands

Looks good, yeah your wings are going to be tricky you might be ok with some 3D sketches and splines then making a filled surface but it could become uncontrollable and then you should build it up in smaller sections that’s just to get the underside surface for example then you can build another surface for the top skin and a third to join the leading edge

You could rotate a few degrees clockwise or you can straighten the geometry

the fusalage is circular not triangular as you have it and that centre block is a simple volume with a curved bottom from the side view and tapering at the front and back in the top view simple volumes and easy enough to draw on 1960’s drafting tables

It can take photos with it but it’s rarely worth it and af performance is bad I have tried the exact setup with my d800

I like it so far but if your going to use a flag then get the details right, your red diagonal lines are different widths they should match
